Setting up your DEFED Motion Sensor

INTRODUCTION

LifeSmart DEFED Motion Sensor is a wireless passive infrared sensor to detect the moving human body within a certain range and report the intrusion alarm in time. The detection range is up to 12M, and the detection angle is up to 90°. It is recommended to install the sensor at a height of 2.4 meters to obtain a better detection performance.

SET UP
Notice: DEFED Motion Sensor needs to be paired with the DEFED Alarm Station or LifeSmart Smart Station to join the system.

1. After configuration of the alarm station or smart station, choose “Add Device” in LifeSmart App, select “DEFED Motion Sensor”, and enter pairing mode.
2. Follow the instruction on the app to finish paring.
3. If a time-out error occurs, please repeat steps 1-3 until it’s successfully paired.

INSTRUCTION

• DEFEND Motion Sensor adopts passive infrared technology to sense moving bodies. You can install it at the entrance or in corridors to detect intrusion. With the temperature sensing element, this sensor can also display the temperature and moving detection status via the LifeSmart app.
• DEFED Motion Sensor can only work under one alarm station or smart station at the same time. If the sensor is activated to the pairing mode and added to another alarm station or smart station, it will be automatically removed from the

The original alarm station or smart station and the status of the sensor in the original system will be displayed offline.

• When the alarm system is armed, the sensor will detect and report moving events within a certain range to your mobile app.
• You can test the signal strength for fast installation in LifeSmart App.
