ROCKPALS Freeman 600 Portable Power Station User Guide - Charging Your
Freeman 600

Charging from wall charger:
Using the included AC charging adapter, plug your Freeman 600 into any wall outlet. You will know the Freeman 600 is fully charged when the LCD display shows number 100%.

Charging from solar panel:
The 6.5mm DC input port is compatible with charging from solar panels.

  1. Place your solar panel where it will get as much direct sunlight as possible.
  2. Solar charge times depend on weather conditions.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When solar recharging your Freeman 600, take note of the voltages of the solar panels. Individual solar panels, or solar panels chained in series in excess of 26V cannot be used with the Freeman 600 and can cause serious damage to the unit.

Charging from your car: Although not recommended because of slow charge time, you can charge your Freeman 600 from any 12V source, like your car.

How to use Freeman 600:

  1. Press the power button located above each port you will be using.
USB/ DC 12V output: long press for 1S. AC output: long press for 2S.

  2. You’ll know the port is turned on when the green LED light on the button is illuminated.

  3. Plug in your electrical device for power.

  4. Press the DISPLAY button to turn on/ off the LCD display.

  5. When not using certain ports, make sure to turn them off to conserve power.

Best-use strategy : When charging device with your Freeman 600, take note of the LCD Battery Display. Make sure that the electronic device you are powering works properly prior to use. The max. power consumption for electronic devices is 600W. If you plug in devices that have a high power requirement (a large refrigerator etc.), the charge level of your Freeman 600 can drop very quickly and you may not get exactly 614Wh of energy. Also, especially when using the AC power output, the Freeman 600 will be converting the energy from the DC power of the battery to the AC power needed by your device. Although Freeman 600 has a highly efficient inverter, there is still some energy lost in the conversion and you will not get the full rated capacity of the battery.

Appropriate temperature usage: Cold temperatures can impact both the battery capacity and the output power. The Freeman 600 can power your devices at temperatures ranging from 14°F~104°F (-10°C~40°C). If your working temperature is beyond this range, the Freeman 600 may stop working.
