GENERAL

The AX700 has been designed as a professional quality scanning receiver covering most ot the well used spectrum in the world. This makes it ideal for monitoring such  services as: police, fire brigades, marine communications, land mobile communications, ambulances, amateur radio, aircrafts, TV audio, etc.
The rear of the set has a S0239 antenna socket to facilitate the use of the telescopic whip antenna which it is supplied with or any other receiving antenna the user wishes to  use.

SPECTRAL DISPLAY

The large LCD panoramic display is designed for two functions. The first is to provide a good spectral display with bandwidths up to 1 MHz. This makes the unit ideal for  seeing channel activity over various bandwidths.
The second utilizes the top section of the screen to give full information on the channel being monitored and the settings of the scanner. The display is backlit with an easy to see yellow light, the brilliance is controlled by a dimmer button for comfortable monitoring.

MANUAL CHANNEL SELECTION

Manual channel selection of stored memory channels or any channels within the receivers coverage is easily accomplished by using either a rotary channel change knob, up/down buttons or by simple key pad entry.

MEMORY CHANNELS

The scanner can memorise up to 100 channels and 10 bands. The memory channels can easily be selected or scanned by simple key strokes.
In the interest of improvement, these specifications are subject to change without notice.
