Features
- Built-in smart filament sensor detects filament break (low electric level when no filament), filament block ( detection accuracy 2.88mm) and other information, output corresponding signals

More guidance
- It is recommended to keep the fan facing left when installing. Make sure the gear and outlet are on the right if the fan facing right. The eight M3 screw holes are available for fixing the extruder.
- The supplied M3*8 screws are suitable for mounting plate (3-smm).
- Recommended slicing parameter: retraction length 1mm, retraction speed: 15mm/s.
Firmware configuration
- Recommended pulse: 932/mm at 16 micro step for extruder.
- The break pin electric level is low when there is no filament. The IO pin needs to be set as “Pull-up input”. Once the filament moves 2.88mm, the block pin level will change. And the IO pin needs to be set as “Pull-up input”.
- H2 smart is a direct drive extruder, DO NOT add retraction moves when filament outage is detected, otherwise the heated and softened filament will get
retracted onto the drive gear and cause the gear to jam.
When filament runout is detected, it is recommended to add an extrusion move of 11mm to removed the remaining filament in the filament path, after which new filament can be inserted.

Set the pause position according to actual situation, and set the retraction
length as 0mm to avoid the heated and softened filament be retracted onto the
extruder s gear.

2) Rep Rap Firmware
Add M591 Do P7 C “eostop” !2.88 R75: 125 E9 S1 to config.g configuration file
and modify the name of eostop according to the actual wiring on the
motherboard.

Wiring
The cable of the Smart Filament Sensor consists of a 4p terminal divided into two 3p terminals. The 4p terminal end is plugged into the Smart Filament Sensor.
