ALLERGY TEST
Always perform an allergy test at least 48 hours before use. Create a mixture of the Liquid Dye and Oxydant and put a dot behind the ear or in the elbow. Wait for 10 minutes before you remove it with a damp cotton pad. If no reaction occurs after 48H it’s safe to apply on the brows & lashes.
WARNINGS
For professional external use only. Wear suitable gloves. Dis- Discontinue use
if irritation occurs, as continuing to use may worsen symptoms. When the
products come in direct contact with the eyes, nose and mouth, rinse them out
immediately and consult with a physician. Do not use if your eyes are injured,
infected or have an allergenic reaction. Do not use it when pregnant or
breastfeeding. Consult with a dermatologist if red spots, swelling,
irritation, or a reaction occurs. Throw the product away after use. Keep out
of reach of children. Store in a cool, shaded environment below room
temperature and keep away from direct sunlight.
PROCESSING TIMES
- Browse: 2-10 minutes, depending on the desired intensity and results.
- For an ombre effect: Tail: 6-10 minutes.
- The middle part of the brows: 4-6 minutes.
- Beginning of the brows: 2-4 minutes.
- Lashes: 5 minutes.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Step 1: Shake the Liquid Dye well before use.
Step 2: Remove all makeup before dying the eyebrows and eyelashes. For
longer-lasting staining on the skin, you need to cleanse and exfoliate the
brow area with the Supercilium Pro Cleanser & Prep Peel Gel. The eyebrows
should be dry and free of all oils and sebum as this can create a barrier
against the Liquid Dye and it will not adhere to the surface layer of the skin
or the hair!
Step 3: Mix the Liquid Dye and Oxydant into a creamy paste. The mixing
ratio is generally 2 drops of Liquid Dye with 1 drop of Oxydant.
Step 4: When the client has closed their eyes, apply Liquid Dye to the
eyebrows. Make sure to work with care and precision to ensure a clean and
precise result. Ensure the Liquid Dye is directly placed in the brow shape you
want to achieve as it will immediately begin to stain the skin.
Step 5: Let the Liquid Dye process on the brow/lashes. Browse: We
recommend a maximum processing time of 10 minutes. Please watch the stain
closely to see how the colour is processing. Remove the dye from the front
part of the brows after a few minutes for an ombre effect and to see how the
stain develops. Lashes: Leave on the lashes for 5 minutes.
Step 6 : Remove the Liquid Dye with a dry cotton pad. Work from the front
of the brow to the tail. Work carefully to not smudge outside the desired brow
area. Remove any re-merming Liquid Dye with a slightly damp cotton pad. Be
careful not to use a scrubbing motion, since this can remove the stain. You
can use a dry cotton swab to clean up the edges of the brow.
AFTERCARE
Important Note
The Liquid Dye can become darker on the first day, however, please note this
is an important step of the process as the stain continues to oxidize on the
skin and settle into its finished shade. The stain will start to fade
gradually as soon as the brows come in contact with water.
- Avoid using makeup and facial cleansers at the brow/lash area for the following 24 hours.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, and the use of sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms, showers, and swimming pools for 24 hours.
- Avoid exfoliating and using anti-aging and oil-based skincare products at the brow/lash area for at least two to three days after treatment.
- Avoid using any sunless tanning/ self-tanning prod- cuts on the face for around two to three days after and before the treatment. Using it will make the brows orange.
- avoid the temptation to over-touch the brow area after treatment. Touching with fingers can lead to oils entering open pores and clogging them.
