Bluetooth connection
- Open the charging case. Place both earbuds in the charging case to begin pairing.
- Simultaneously press and hold the touch control area of the two earbuds until the indicators flash orange and green alternately. These colors indicate that the earbuds are in pairing mode.
Putting on the earbuds
1. Remove the earbuds from the charging case.
2. To put on the earbuds, rotate each earbud’s ear hook along the contour of
your ear in a sweeping motion until the earbud rests across your upper ear
above your ear canal.
3. Once the earbuds are resting on each ear, shake your head slightly to
ensure both are secure. Adjust the earbud’s positioning further if needed.
Confirm that the earbuds are ready to wear
To prevent discomfort and/or potential ear damage, DO NOT position the earbuds inside the ear opening.
*The earbuds should sit comfortably outside the opening of the ear.
Music control
Volume adjustment:
Use the volume control button on the paired device.
Call control
Volume adjustment:
Use the volume control button on the paired device.
Single earbud control
Both the left and right earbuds can be separately used for mono-channel music
play or audio calls. When a single earbud is used, the existing controls and
functions are still applicable for use (see Page 12 and page 13).
Battery & Charging Instructions
On/Off/Standby
Turn On:
The earbuds will automatically power on whenever they are inside the charging
case and when the case is opened. The earbud status indicator and charge box
status indicator will illuminate, indicating that the earbuds are powered on.
*Note: Whenever the earbuds are not in the charging case, keep the case closed to preserve battery power and to avoid unwanted debris.
Turn off:
To power off OpenDots, place both earbuds inside the charging case and close
the case.
Standby:
The earbuds will enter a power-saving standby mode whenever they are out of
the charging case and have been disconnected from the device for a period of
time.
Charging
Insert the earbuds into the charging case until they are magnetically held in place. The case’s internal status indicator will illuminate when earbuds are secure. Close the charge box to begin charging the earbuds.
*The LED light in the case indicates the remaining battery life of the earbuds. A green light indicates a full charge, and an orange light indicates a low charge. If both earbuds are in the charging case, the LED light will indicate the battery life of which earbud that needs charging. In many instances, both may need to be charged.
*The earbuds will be fully charged 40 minutes after being placed in the closed charging case. The case must have adequate power (at least 50% battery life) to charge the earbuds.
*When the earbuds are running low on power, place them in the charging case to begin a 5-minute quick charge. Quick charge will provide battery life for up to 60 minutes. The charge box must have adequate power (at least 50% battery life) to perform quick charge.
Charging the charging case
Insert the included USB-A to USB-C charge cable into the charging case, or into the USB-A power supply of any certified wall-mounted charger. The indicator on the outside of the case will illuminate solid orange to indicate that the charge box is being charged. When the indicator becomes solid green, the charging case is fully charged.
*It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the earbuds and charging case. The case is charged with standard 5V±5% USB voltage. It is not recommended to charge the earbuds with a higher-voltage power supply. Charging the case with a third-party cable may result in longer and/or irregular charging time.
*Please ensure that the charge port is dry and free from sweat and other liquids before charging. If the charge port contains any residual liquid, please clean and dry it with a soft, dry cloth.
Earbud Status Indicators
Understanding the status indicator inside the charging case
The status indicator inside the charging case is located between the two earbuds inside the case. It displays the remaining power of the earbuds in the case.
- If you open the case and the green light illuminates for 5 seconds then stops, this indicates a high battery life.
- If you open the case and the orange light illuminates for 5 seconds then stops, this indicates a low battery life.
- If the orange and green lights flash alternately, pairing is in progress.
- If the orange light flashes, the device is being reset.
*Note: If both earbuds are inside the case, the LED indicator will indicate the battery life of the earbud with a lower battery life.
Understanding the status indicator outside the charging case
The status indicator outside the charging case is located on the outside of the case’s housing, and it displays the battery life of the case.
-
If an external power supply is connected:
· Solid orange light: charging in progress
· Solid green light: charging complete -
If an external power supply is disconnected:
· If you open the case and the green light on the outside illuminates for 5 seconds then stops, this indicates that the case has a high battery life.
· If you open the case and the orange light on the outside illuminates for 5 seconds then stops, this indicates that the case has a low battery life.

Cleaning & Upkeep
Cleaning
-
Earbuds:
Use a soft, clean cloth to clean the earbuds and charging case after each use. Do not use any abrasive paper or cloth that contains wooden fibers or corrosive materials.
Note:
Power off the device and disconnect it from all other devices before cleaning.
· Do not use water to clean the earbuds. Do not directly rinse the earbuds with water or clean them with ultrasonic waves.
· Keep liquids away from any openings on the earbuds.
· Do not use any sharp tools or corrosive substances to clean your earbud. To avoid earbud damage, deformation and discoloration, do not use any abrasive detergent, spraying agent, high-concentration detergent, chemical detergent, alcohol or acetone solvent to clean the earbud. -
Charge chamber:
We recommend using a non-fibrous soft and damp cloth for cleaning the charging case chamber.
Waterproofing standards
This product has been shown to be resistant to water splashes during laboratory testing under controlled conditions, and satisfies the IP54 standards of IEC 60529. However, the splash resistance is not always effective, and durability may decrease with normal wear and tear over time.
- Do not soak the earbuds in water. Do not expose them to a humid environment for long, or wear them while swimming, water skiing, surfing or doing other water sports.
- If the earbuds or any of its accessories are exposed water, dry them as soon as possible and place them in a ventilated and cool place to dry further. Do not use or charge the earbuds again until they have dried completely.
- The charge chamber is not waterproof and all water exposure should be avoided.
Storage and Maintenance
- Store the headphones and the charging case in a cool, dry place. The working temperature should be 0~45°C(32~113°F). Working in a cold/hot environment, a highly humid area, or an extremely low air pressure may reduce the battery life.
- Keep the headphones and the charging case away from heat sources, direct sunlight, combustible gas or other liquids.
- Keeping the charging port dry before connecting to the charger will reduce the risk of damage.
- These headphones are water-resistant for non-watersports and exercise, but are not waterproof. Please do not submerge the headphones in water. The IP54 rating is not a permanent degree of protection and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear.
- The charging case is not water-resistant. Please do not expose the charging case to water, rain or any liquid. · Clean the headphones and the charging case with a soft dry cloth. Do not use water or cleansing chemicals to clean them.
- Avoid charging right after exercising to reduce the chances of damaging the inner hardware circuits.
- After storing for a long period, please charge the headphones before using again.
Hearing Loss
Listening with headphones at high volume may affect your hearing and the audio
will be distorted. Do not listen to music at high volume for a long time.
Note
Read these instructions before using the product.
Choking Hazard
Keep the headphones and the charging case away from children and pets. If
accidental ingestion happens, seek immediate medical attention. When not in
use, store the headphones in the charging case, and store away from children
and pets.
