I’m not sure, but I think the answer is yes. The holder can be changed. I have no issues using my Samsung Galaxy S10+ or iPhone XS Max.

Although the illumination is really brilliant, it would be preferable to purchase the taller one.
Is it possible to attach the ring light to a typical camera tripod?
It can be mounted to a typical camera tripod, I think.
Does this function with the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus?
Since the phone holding component is only a spring-loaded clamp, unless the galaxy s9 phone is absurdly wide, I would assume it will function.
How much time is the stand?
As brief as it appears in the image. Since it won’t extend upwards, you can’t use it with a laptop or monitor. On a table of typical height, the phone will be slanted up your nose and the light will shine up your chin. These factors led me to return it, along with the fact that the bottom gimbal wasn’t screwed in and that if I touched it, the light would pop out of the stand.
Does the iPhone 10XR support this?
The phone attachment component is simply a spring-loaded clamp that self- adjusts to fit any size phone. My iPhone 6s could perhaps extend to fit a wider phone.
Is a phone required to utilise this?
Absolutely. Even with my phone turned off, I use it. As a standalone light, it works nicely. Beyond that, this light is fantastic, however, I almost wish it had a lower dim setting.
Is there a carrying case included with the kit?
No, it doesn’t; it is exactly what is shown in the picture. The quality isn’t very great, therefore you should have your own carrying case. It is quite delicate.
