How do I use this?****
You’ll need to follow these steps: 1. Put your arm through the cuff while making sure that there is no air trapped inside; 2. Press the power button; 3. Wait for about 10 seconds until you hear a voice prompt telling you to relax your arm; 4. After 10 seconds, you will hear another voice prompt telling you that it is measuring your blood pressure; 5. Wait for another 10 seconds until you hear another voice prompt telling you that it is done measuring; 6. Remove your arm from the cuff; 7. Press any button on the device to exit the menu and view your results on the LCD display screen; 8. If there is an error message, please check whether or not there is air trapped inside of the cuff; 9. If there are no error messages, please check whether or not there are any problems with your device (such as a low battery).
How long does this device last?****
This device comes with a battery that lasts up to three years before needing replacement (based on an average of four measurements per day). Please note that this device will not work if its battery runs out of power or if its battery contacts become corroded or dirty (please refer to the “Maintenance” section for more information). Can the audio be muted?****
Yes, to enter “programming” mode when in sleep mode, press and hold SET for at least 3 seconds (the little person icon will be flashing) Toggle through the year, date, and time (24-hour clock) settings, which are little numbers at the upper right, by pressing SET once more. Use MEM to modify the values and SET to confirm and move forward. Then, in bold characters, you’ll notice SP (switch to OFF) and PA (turn to OFF). Although I’m unsure of what SP and PA are, turning off both allowed me to muffle the voice. (SP might stand for speaker; PA could stand for the verbal instructions given before taking your blood pressure.)

Do you have to pump it or is it automatic?****
Everything about this is automatic. It fits on your left arm, and when you press a button, it pumps the cuff and shows your blood pressure and pulse. Very simple and attractive unit.
Does it take two people to operate this cuff? What I’m trying to ask is, can I put the cuff on by myself, or do I need a helper?****
One individual is okay. Functions like it should.
