Transformers or power supplies are not toys, the use of these products by children shall be under the full supervision of parents. INSTRUCTION FOR SAFE USE
It is strongly recommended that the Yoto App’s built-in volume limiter settings are used to restrict the maximum volume allowed. Caregiver supervision is necessary to check the loudness and judge whether the volume levels are appropriate level for the environment. Please refrain from using maximum volume. When necessary, in loud environments, please limit the exposure of maximum volume to short periods of less than 2 hours, take regular breaks and ensure the volume is returned to minimal levels once the environmental noise has reduced. The reason for this advice is that the World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends 85db is the maximum safe volume level for up to eight hours, however this level is too quiet for noisy environments. Therefore, Yoto have designed their headphones to not exceed the legal EU limit of 94dBA according to EN 55032-2 whilst being loud enough to ensure they are still useful. To help set volume levels, speak at a normal volume while listening to headphones, then lower the volume until you can hear your own voice.
Check the product and power supply regularly for damage and in the event of damage, it shall not be used until the damage has been repaired. To avoid malfunction, damage to your product or risking voiding your product guarantee (found at yotoplay. com) please observe the following:
Do not expose it to water or moisture whilst in operation. Clean with a dry
soft cloth, if this does not remove the dirt and liquids are necessary the
product must be disconnected from the transformer or power supply before
cleaning. Do not expose it to heat from any source and avoid charging near
radiators or placing it in direct sunlight.
Do not tamper with screws or dismantle the product in any way. The physical
elements of the product are not serviceable in the field. This toy contains
batteries that are non-replaceable because there is risk of explosion if the
battery is replaced by an incorrect battery type. Protect the power cable from
being walked on or pinched. Unplug during lightning storms or when unused for
