ASSEMBLY/ DISASSEMBLY
-
Remove all packing materials and keep them away from babies and children.
-
Place the appliance in a horizontal position (the protective grille facing down).
-
Open out the two sides and the bottom of the appliance (base).
-
Align the holes in the base with the corresponding holes on the sides of the heater. The bottom of the sides should be applied at the end of the edge of the base. Align the holes in the base with the corresponding slots on the sides and then insert the 4 screws (included in the package) inwards from the outside of the base and tighten them irmly until the base secures to the sides of the appliance.
-
Align the top of the gas heater with the 2 side parts and pass the T-shaped connector (1 connector on each side) from the inside of the top and side. Align the 3 connector holes with the holes on the lid (2 on each side) and on each side of the heater (1 on each side). Screw the connector on the lid with the 2 small screws on each side and with the large screw the connector on each side. Tighten the screws (screw head on the outside) and tighten firmly until all parts are securely locked.
-
Place the wheels on the heater and tighten the nuts well.
-
Then insert one end of the gas hose into the gas connection valve of the appliance and secure it using the clamp included in the package. Connect the other end of the gas hose to the pressure regulator valve and lock it in place by tightening with the clamp. Before using the appliance, make sure that the hose is fully inserted into the pressure regulator and the bottle and is properly secured by the clamps.
CAUTION: Do not apply excessive force to the appliance when installing the hose. For easier installation, put a minimum amount of dishwashing liquid on the inside of the hose, and push it with a controlled force so that it fits properly. In case of doubt about how to connect the hose to the burner, consult a qualified technician.
NOTE: Check the condition of the hose regularly. In case of damage, replace it with a suitable hose (according to the current legislation). We recommend replacing the hose every 3 years.
CAUTION: When installing the hose, avoid folding or creasing it. -
Turn the heater to an upright position.
GAS CYLINDER CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the gas cylinder on the back of the heater. Always place the LPG cylinder in an upright position and always with the valve outlet facing outwards.
- Screw the pressure regulator to the gas cylinder outlet and lock by turning it counterclockwise.
CAUTION: Make sure there is a special flange in the joint pressure regulator and that it is in good condition. If in doubt about the condition of the flange, consult an authorized technician to replace it.
CHECK FOR LPG GAS LEAK
Open the gas cylinder faucet by turning it ( 1 ½ turn) and check with soap for
leaks.
L CAUTION:
• Never smoke when connecting equipment and make sure there are no heat
sources, sparks or naked flames ( eg lighter or matches) in the area.
• Never use a naked flame to check a gas leak!
For the test, prepare soap (e.g. on a sponge using dishwashing soap). Spread
the soap at the points we want to control (around the connection of the
fitting with the valve). In case of leakage we see that bubbles are created,
while their absence confirms that the connection is tight.
The leak can also be perceived by the characteristic smell of the gas. If
something like this happens, immediately close the bottle and the switches of
the device and ventilate the space very well.
CAUTION: Always check for leaks with the appliance switched off and the
bottle open.
Once the LPG check has been completed, place the LPG cylinder protector on the
back in such a way that it hugs the cylinder. Align the holes of the
protective part with the holes on the sides of the heater and secure with
screws. The guard helps keep the bottle in place.
USING THE APPLIANCE
LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
The appliance has 3 different power levels:
• 1500W ( · )
• 2750W ( .. )
• 4200W ( ··· )
The ignition method is piezoelectric ignition.
To turn on the gas heater, follow the following steps:
-
Open the LPG cylinder (1 ½ turn) by turning the cylinder faucet counterclockwise.
-
By pressing the rotary switch down while in position 1, press the ignition button more than once until the flame (guide) and the center ceramic hob light up. Continue to hold down the rotary switch for a further 15 to 20 seconds to warm the thermocouple and to activate the flame failure safety device.
NOTE: Each time you press the ignition key, a distinctive sound should be heard and a spark should appear at the flame output. -
Then select the desired power level by pushing the switch down slightly and turning it to the corresponding position. In case the flame goes out, repeat the procedure. To
-
TO switch off the gas heater, turn the appliance rotary switch to position 1 and close the gas cylinder valve. Make sure that when you switch off the appliance, the flame has stopped and the ceramic hobs have been extinguished.
CAUTION: When you want to turn off the heater, you must always turn off the gas cylinder valve. The appliance switches off only when the LPG cylinder is closed and cannot be switched off only by the control switch.
NOTE: The appliance has a protection system in case of oxygen depletion in the room (ODS) that automatically intervenes and switches off the heater when the oxygen content falls below the permissible limit.
CAUTION: If the rotary switch is pressed and does not return to its original position (up) the safety systems will not work. Make sure the switch returns to its original position.
CAUTION: The appliance must be used in well-ventilated areas. Ventilation is vital to the effective performance of this device and to your safety. Allow plenty of fresh air to enter the room, never seal doors and windows.
HOW TO CHANGE GAS CYLINDER
You can install LPG cylinders with a maximum capacity of 14,2 Kg. The cylinder
should be changed away from any source of ignition and in no case in a place
where there are naked flames.
Close the gas cylinder valve completely (turning it clockwise) and wait for
the appliance to cool completely before removing and replacing the cylinder.
CAUTION:
- Under no circumstances try to remove the pressure regulator during use of the appliance.
- Never smoke when connecting the gas cylinder and make sure that there are no sources of heat, ignition, spark or naked flame in the room.
- Make sure the appliance is turned off.
- Make sure the empty gas cylinder valve is closed.
-
Remove the LPG cylinder protective cover by unscrewing the screws from the side parts.
-
Then disconnect the pressure regulator fitted to the empty cylinder faucet nozzle and remove
the cylinder to a well-ventilated area. -
Check that the pressure regulator, flange and hose are in good condition and not damaged.
-
Replace the flange on the pressure regulator connection fitting with a new one.
-
Remove the safety film from the new (full) bottle.
-
Check that the new bottle tap is working properly (turn half turn) and then close it again.
-
Remove the cap from the faucet of the new gas cylinder and connect the regulator by tightening the connection fitting.
NOTE: Caution, the connection fitting to the gas cylinder is tightened counterclockwise. -
Check for possible leakage of liquefied petroleum gas following the steps in the section ” CHECK FOR LPG GAS LEAK”.
NOTE: The gas cylinder requires the air to be removed from the inside the first time it is filled, to ensure proper operation of the appliance. This must be done in gas filling station and the cylinder should be checked each time for safe function.
OVERTURN SECURITY SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATIC OFF
The heater is equipped with a special tip protection system, which immediately
stops the operation of the appliance (the flame and the ceramic hob go out) in
case the heater is overturned. This safety system eliminates the risk of fire
due to the high temperature that develops in the front grille in the event of
a rollover.
CAUTION: In the event of a rollover, close the gas cylinder tap.
