What may effect the efficiency of the solar panel?
Your solar panel may not be able to keep your camera fully charged on days that are snowy, cloudy, gloomy, rainy or duping periods of extensive use(frequents access or constant triggers). External factors, such as shade, temperature, weather, and amount of dust or debris on its surface, may also affect the effictive of solar panel in generating electricity.

How to optimize the efficienct of solar panel?
For optimize the effectiveness of your solar panel, you may mount your solar panel in well-lit places. Adjust the direction of your solar panel to face the south. Wipe the surface of the solar panel with wet tissue of cloth regularly.

Why are solar panels not working properly in the cold winter?
In the cold winter, because of the sunny time is short, the ultraviolet energy is insufficient, which will cause the solar energy absorbed insufficient, and the camera working consume can’t be fulfilled. If such a situation is encountered, it’s recommended to remove the camera and directly use the 5V power adapter charging it.

How can I know if camera is charging when connected with solar panel?
As long as the solar panel faces the sunshine, the camera will be charged. But only the electric current reaches to 500mAh, the charging icon would appear on App. (When the sunlight is sufficient, the charging icon may not display more than 4hours/day. If the charging icon not displayed on the App, it doesn’t mean that the camera is not charging.)

  1. Please select a position with the most sunlight throughout the year for your solar panel. The YESKAMO solar panel only needs a few hours of direct sunlight to sufficiently power your camera daily.The amount of energy that the solar panel can produce is affected by weather conditions, seasonal changes, geographic locations, etc.

  2. Assemble the solar panel’s bracket

  3. Mount the bracket with the mounting template and the screws provided in the package.

  4. Slot the solar panel into the bracket and make sure it’s secure.

  5. Loosen the adjusting control on the bracket and adjust the angle of the solar panel to make it receive direct sunlight, and then retighten the adjusting control to secure your setting.

  6. Connect the solar panel to the YESKAMO battery camera with the type C cable

Please do not remove the whole rubber cover on camera body while plug type-c cable, just take off the aligned small rubber to connect it because of waterproofing needed.
