INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Age: 12-36 months
Requires 3x 1.5V AAA batteries (supplied). The batteries included in the product at the moment of purchase are only provided for demonstration in the point of sale and need to be replaced with new batteries immediately after purchase.
PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

WARNINGS
For your child’s safety:

Remove any plastic bags and any other packaging elements and throw them away or store them out of the reach of children. Choking hazard.
Regularly inspect the product for signs of wear and damage. If the product is damaged do not use it, and keep it out of the reach of children.
Use the toy under the continuous supervision of an adult
Do not use this toy in any way not illustrated in the manual
Do not leave the toy near direct heat sources and/or for long periods in direct sunlight.

HOW TO USE THE TOY

Switching on and mode selection (Fig. 1) 1) OFF product switched off
Silent mode lights are active; sounds are disabled to focus attention on a reduced number of stimuli.
ON activates both lights and audible content about emotions.
Once the Emotibee product has been switched on, the emotion can be changed by rotating the bee’s face vertically to select joy (Fig. 2), sorrow (Fig. 3), anger (Fig. 4) or fear (Fig. 5). Every time an expression is selected, the product will recognize the expression and activate lights and/or audible content related to that emotion.

REMOVING AND INSERTING REPLACEABLE BATTERIES

The batteries must always be replaced by an adult.
To replace the batteries: loosen the screw on the cover located under the activity surface of the product using a screwdriver, open the cover, remove the spent batteries and fit new ones, making sure that the battery polarity is correct (as shown on the product). Close the battery cover and tighten the screw.
Always keep batteries and tools out of reach of children.
Always remove dead batteries from the product to avoid damaging the product should they leak.
Should the batteries leak, replace them immediately, being careful to clean the battery compartment and wash hands thoroughly in the event of any contact with the battery fluid.
Always remove batteries if the product will remain unused for a long period of time.
Only use alkaline batteries of the same type or equivalent to the type recommended for this product.
Never mix alkaline, standard (zinc-carbon) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
Do not use dead batteries and new batteries together.
Do not throw dead batteries into a fire or leave them in the environment; they must be disposed of through waste sorting.
Do not short-circuit the power terminals.
Do not attempt to charge batteries that are not rechargeable: they may explode.
Use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended, the functionality of the product may be impaired.
If using rechargeable batteries, remove them from the product before charging and only charge under adult supervision.
Remove batteries from the product before disposing of it.
The product is not designed to work with replaceable Lithium batteries.

The crossed bin symbol on the appliance indicates that the product, at the end of its life, must be disposed of separately from domestic waste, either by taking it to a separate waste disposal site for electric and electronic appliances or by returning it to your dealer when you buy another similar appliance. The user is responsible for taking the appliance to a special waste disposal site at the end of its life. If the unwanted appliance is collected correctly as separate waste, it can be recycled, treated and disposed of ecologically; this avoids a negative impact on both the environment and health, and contributes towards the recycling of the product’s materials. . The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on either the battery or the packaging indicates that at the end of their life, these must be disposed of separately from domestic waste and must not be disposed of in urban waste, but need to be taken to a waste sorting centre or returned it to your dealer when you buy rechargeable batteries and new equivalent non-rechargeable batteries. The Hg, Cd, or Pb chemical symbol on the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates the type of substance contained in the battery: Hg=Mer- cury, Cd=Cadmium, Pb=Lead. The user is responsible for bringing batteries, at the end of their life, to the appropriate collection facilities in order to facilitate treatment and recycling. If the dead batteries are collected correctly as separate waste, these can be recycled, treated and disposed of ecologically; this avoids a negative impact on both the environment and health, and contributes towards the recycling of the substances contained in the batteries. Illegal disposal of the product by the user will damage the environment and human health. CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the toy using a soft dry fabric or microfibre cloth to avoid damaging the electric circuit. Do not clean using detergents or solvents.
Protect the product from heat, dust, sand and water.
