Safety warnings
The following important points should be read and under stood prior to use:
- The maximum head of the pump is 3.7m (for pumps having rated power input exceeding 100W). Maximum liquid temperature: 35 °C.
- Make sure the pump be fixed before using each time with the screws.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, only sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the appliance should be scrapped.
- The pump must not be used when people are in the water. The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the appliance should be scrapped.
- WARNING The pump is to be supplied by an isolating transformer of supplied through a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA.
- WARNING To prevent possible electric shock, do not attempt to plug in power cord with wet hands while standing in water.
- WARNING Make certain before each use of pump that all clamps are tightened and that all hoses are connected properly.
- WARNING Do not use this filter pump to vacuum pool.
- WARNING Never 230 V power adapter near a swimming pool. Transformers and power outlet should be 3.5 meters or more away from the pool. Filter pump and power adapter may not be installed in flooded areas (where no suitable power outlet).
Installation instructions

Set up your pool exactly. Fill it completely with water.

Position the filter pump unit at least 20 cm below the highest water level in the pool.

And keep the filter pump at least 60 cm away from the sidewall of the pool.

Place Swim & Fun Filterballs and the bottom sponge into the body of the filter pump.

Make certain that the filter chamber rubber gasket is placed in the seal groove on the top of the filter pump.

Screw on filter chamber cover onto the top of the body of the filter pump by hand.

Connect the hoses the same as in the Installation illustration, and fixture the pump to the wall of the pool. Remember to use hose clamps, and tighten them with a screwdriver.

Allow time for filter pump chamber to full with water. Never operate the filter
pump dry. -
Connect electrical power cord into a grounded receptacle protected by a groundfault circuit interrupter(GFCI). Please contact a qualified electrician for verification purposes and/or installation of a GFCI receptacle if necessary
NOTE:
The pool must be full of water up to the mid-height of the skimmer. The water must circulate to the pump. (Be sure that the tank is placed under the water surface, so the water can flow naturally in the hose towards the pump.)
Operating instructions
- The filter pump will prime itself as long as it is positioned at least 20 cm below the highest water level is a relief valve located on the top of the pump. Simply turn the valve knob counter-clockwise, and when a small number of water escapes, close it immediately by turning clockwise. The pump will now be completely primed.
- Never operate the filter pump dry. It can cause damage to seals which may result in leakage and/or flooding.
- Prior to each use, check to ensure that all hose clamps are tightened.
- To prevent possible electric shock, do not attempt to plug in the electrical power cord with a wet hand or while standing in water
- The filter pump must operate in an upright, vertical position.
- The filter pump must be positioned on level, stable ground.
- To preserve the full life of the pump and to keep the pool filtered properly, your pump should be run approximately 4 to 6 hours per day.
- Overuse may cause overheating and/or motor burnout. Use good judgment on extremely days and be mindful of running the filter pump continuously for an extended period of time.
Cleaning and replacement
- The Swim & Fun Filterballs in your pump filter system should be replaced approximately once per season.
- Periodically cleaning of your Swim & Fun Filterballs can enhance the effectiveness of your filter pump and moderately prolong the Swim & Fun Filterballs lifespan prior to replacement.
- Keep the power be disconnecting to the unit when changing the Swim & Fun Filterballs.
- Turn the air vale screw to release the air suction inside.
- Remove the filter lid and the filter chamber rubber gasket, and then take out the Swim & Fun Filterballs.
- Your clean (or new) Swim & Fun Filterballs can be put back into the filter chamber and you can refer to the installation instruction to re-assemble the filter pump unit.
General maintenance
- To avoid dangerous or fatal electrical shock hazard, always disconnect power to the unit before attempting to clean pump.
- There is no need for any regular mechanical maintenance of the pump unit. (Do not attempt to disassemble the pump motor at any time).
- If necessary, clean outside of pump with a mild detergent and water, rinsing off with a hose.
- There is no need for the use of any lubricants on the pump.

Guarantee
The product is covered by a 12-month guarantee (plus 12-month right to claim).
The warranty period applies from the date of purchase on your purchase
receipt. Proof of purchase must be provided when claiming for service under
the guarantee. NB: Keep your purchase receipt in a safe place!
The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches, wear and tear or
cosmetic damage. Specifically, the guarantee does not cover damage caused as a
result of:
- Improper use or handling including frost damage by improper storage.
- A fall or shock.
- Repairs, modifications or etc. performed by anyone other than Swim & Fun Scandinavia service center.
Complaints
If you have a claim, you must contact Swim & Fun Scandinavia at swim- fun.com/Support. By submission of a defective item it must be packaged so that the product is protected against transport damage. It is your responsibility that the product arrives safely. Please notify us on your name, address and e-mail – to enable us to return the product to you. Remember to let us know what is wrong with the product
Responsible Disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with general household waste. This applies throughout the entire EU. In order to prevent any harm to the environment or health hazards caused by incorrect waste disposal, the product must be handed in for recycling so that the material can be disposed of in a responsible manner. When recycling your product, take it to your local collection facility or contact the place of purchase. They will ensure that the product is disposed of in an environmentally sound manner
