Wiring supplies as required by electrical code
TOOLS MD MATERIALS REQUIRED’
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
- Tum off power at main electrical service box before starting installation.
- Electrical connections must comply with local code ordinances or national electrical codes.
INSTALLATION:
Step 1: Unpack fixture parts from box and check to see that no parts are
missing. Place the three pieces of glass on a flat surface and join together
using the brackets provided. ensure to use one rubber washer on each side of
the glass and do not over tighten nuts as it could crack the glass. Attach
glass assembly to fixture using screws, washers and nuts provided in the
fixture holes.
Step 2: Feed wire through threaded pipe and join threaded pipe to
fixture. Place large tube and cap over fixture wire and slide into place on
top of fixture. Choose desired length of rods(comes with 2 x 12′ and 2 x 61
slide down fixture wire and secure in place using small threaded pipes
included. Slide small loop down fixture cord and attach to top of rod assembly
Step 3: Attach
mounting bracket to electrical box using screws in the box or the screws
provided with your fixture. Feed wire through hole in canopy and make a half
knot dose to where wire exits canopy hole. Conned ground wire from
fixture(green) to ground screw in electrical box or to ground wire (bare
copper) we from electrical box using orange wire nut (provided) Connect
neutral wire from fixture(white line) to white wire in electrical box using
provided wire connector. Connect load wire from fixture(black line) to black
wire in electrical box also using provided connector (orange). Tuck al exposed
wiring into electrical box. Ensure all wires are tucked inside electrical box
and slide canopy carefully over threaded nipple. Secure canopy in place using
finial provided with your fixture. Use desired length of chain to conned the
two loops (one from canopy and one from top of fixture rod assembly)
Step 4: Install the proper type and wattage of bulb (NOT INCLUDED) as per
the label on the socket or socket ring.
Step 5: Install threaded pipe and cone assembly to hold bottom glass.
Install glass and secure in place using disc and finial.
Your installation is now complete, restore power and enjoy your new fixture.
Care and Cleaning
Always turn off power at the source(main electrical panel) before any type of
cleaning or maintenance.
The glass can be cleaned using a soft cloth and mild dish soap. Never use
abrasive pads or strong cleaning agents as this may damage the finish of the
glass. Allow to dry completly before re-installing on the fixture.
The fixture can be cleaned using a soft dry cloth. Never use abrasive pads or
water to clean electrical fixtures.
