automatically and last up to 5 minutes. During this time, the dehumidifying

Do not switch off the unit or disconnect the plug from the mains power supply
whilst the unit is defrosting.
RECYCLING & DISPOSAL
The packaging of your new product has a recycle mark on it. Please dispose of it as recycled paper. Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with general household waste. TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have any issues with our dehumidifier or have any questions, here are some troubleshooting tips that may help you to overcome them.
Problem | What to Check / Change |
---|---|
Dehumidifier is not turning on / has turned off | • Check that the water tank |
is not full
• Ensure the power plug is securely connected
• The unit may be defrosting. Please check the defrost indicator light.
• Ensure at least one of the front louvres are open.
• Ensure the water tank is securely in place.
• If the humidity hits 60% or less in Automatic Mode, the unit will switch
off.
Water is not being collected| • The filters may be blocked. Please clean as
per instructions above.
• Ensure the dehumidifier has enough space around it and that the air openings
are not blocked.
• The dehumidifier relies on drawing air in and cooling it on a cold surface
to remove the moisture. If the room is too cold, it struggles to activate this
function. Increase the room temperature.
Humidity is not changing| • Ensure nothing in the room is giving off moisture
(wet clothes, water etc.). Close all doors to any moisture (like a toilet).
• Do not open and close windows as this will let moisture into the room.
• The unit will not dry enclosed spaces if there is not sufficient air
circulation as it will simply recycle the air. Ensure there is sufficient
circulation.
• Lower the humidity target using the control panel.
The unit is making a strange noise| • Ensure your unit is on a flat surface.
Any small incline / decline can result in an unusual noise.
• It is normal for refrigerant to create a sound when the unit starts up. The
sounds should stabilise.
There is a strange smell| • If water is left in the unit for too long, it may
go stale and start to smell. Empty and clean the water tank regularly.
• The dehumidifier pulls air in from the room so any room smells can be caught
in the unit. Clean the filter and water tank regularly to reduce the smell.
