Subwoofer
Before using the soundbar, please read this manual thoroughly and retain it for future reference.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX
Remote Control
- Switch the unit between ON and STANDBY mode.
- SOURCE Select the play function.
- DIMMER Adjust display brightness.
- Skip to previous/next track in Bluetooth mode.
- Play/pause/resume playback in Bluetooth mode. Press and hold to activate the pairing function in Bluetooth mode or disconnect the existing paired Bluetooth device.
- BASS +/- Adjust bass level.
- TREBLE +/- Adjust treble level.
- (MUTE) Mute or resume the sound.
- +/- (volume) Increase/decrease the system’s volume level.
- VERTICAL/SURROUND Adjust the surround ON/OFF.
- SOUND MODE Select Equalizer (EQ) Effect.
- SUBWOOFER +/- Increase/decrease the subwoofer’s volume level.
Replace the Remote Control Battery
- Press and slide the back cover to open the battery compartment of the remote control.
- Insert two AAA-size batteries (included). Make sure the (+) and (–) ends of the batteries match the (+) and (–) ends indicated in the battery compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
WARNING
- Do not mix old and new batteries;
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc) or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni- MH, etc.) batteries.
Identifying the Parts
Soundbar
- Remote Control Sensor
- Receive signal from the remote control.
- Display Window
- Show the current status.
- Wall bracket screws
- (ON/OFF) button
- Switch the unit between ON and Standby mode.
- (SOURCE) button
- Select the play function.
- Press and hold to activate the pairing function in Bluetooth mode or disconnect the existing paired Bluetooth device.
- +/- (volume) buttons
- Increase/decrease the system’s volume level.
- USB (Service only) Socket
- The USB socket is for service only. It is not designed to charge smartphones, tablets or similar devices.
- AUX Socket
- Connect to an external audio device.
- OPTICAL Socket
- Use to connect to the OPTICAL OUT socket on an external device.
- COAXIAL Socket
- Use to connect to the COAXIAL OUT socket on an external device.
- HDMI OUT (TV eARC/ARC) Socket
- The port for connecting a TV. The port supports the eARC/ARC HDMI feature, which allows the soundbar to play audio that originates on the connected TV.
- HDMI IN (1/2) Sockets
- Two HDMI ports for connecting HDMI source devices, such as a DVD player, Blu-ray Disc™ player, or gaming console. Note that only one HDMI input is usable at a time.
- AC~ Socket
- Connect to power supply.
Wireless Subwoofer
- AC~ Socket
- Connect to power supply.
- PAIR button
- Press activate the pairing function between the main unit and the subwoofer.
- PAIR Indicator
- Light stops blinking once the subwoofer is paired with the soundbar.
Connections
Pair up with the subwoofer
The subwoofer and the soundbar will be paired automatically when both are powered on.
If no audio from the wireless subwoofer can be heard, take the following steps to manually pair
- Press and hold the PAIR button on the subwoofer until indicator light flashing fast beside pair button.
- Press and hold the (MUTE) button on the soundbar until “PAIR” displays on the sound bar.
- When indicator light turn solid on the subwoofer. Pairing is successful.
Bluetooth Operation ( )
Basic Operation
Standby/ON
When you first connect the main unit to the mains socket, the main unit will be in Standby mode.
- Press the button on the unit or on the remote control to switch the unit ON.
- Press the button again to switch the unit back to STANDBY mode.
- Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket if you want to switch the unit OFF completely.
Select Modes
- Press the (SOURCE) button on the unit or press the AUX, , OPT/COA, HDMI 1/2, HDMI eARC buttons on the remote control to select the desired mode. The selected mode will show on the display.
Adjusting the Bass/Treble Level
- Press the BASS +/- buttons on the remote control to adjust bass level.
- Press the TREBLE +/- buttons on the remote control to adjust treble level.
Turn the Surround Sound ON/OFF
- Press the VERTICAL/SURROUND button on the remote control to turn on the surround sound. Press this button again to turn off the surround sound.
Select Equalizer (EQ) Effect
- Press the SOUND MODE button on the remote control to select your desired preset equalizer effects: GAME, MOVIE, VOICE, MUSIC.
Adjust the Volume
- Press the +/- (volume) buttons to adjust system’s volume level.
- Press the SUBWOOFER +/- buttons on the remote control to increase or decrease the subwoofer’s volume level.
- If you wish to turn the sound off, press the (MUTE) button on the remote control. Press the (MUTE) button again or press the +/- (volume) buttons on the unit or on the remote control to resume normal listening.
Adjust the Brightness
- Press the DIMMER button on the remote control to select brightness level.
Wall Mounting
Auto-Standby Feature
Your sound bar has been programmed to enter Standby mode automatically when no audio is detected for 15 minutes. For example, this would happen when pausing playback, or should the sound bar be left on accidentally.
To disable this feature, please follow the steps below
- Ensure the sound bar is in Standby state (power OFF)
- Pointing the remote at the sound bar, press Volume Down, then the Left key, and nally Mute.
- The display should read “ASOFF”, for Auto-Standby OFF.
Follow the same steps as above to activate the feature once again, this time displaying “ASON” for Auto-Standby ON. Repeating these steps will toggle the feature ON and OFF.
