Motorola V180 Battery Replacement
INTRODUCTION
The Motorola v180 is a flip phone with a front screen and a main LED display.
It is small and compact, and has a 820 mAh lithium ion battery that lasts 5.8
hours during full media use.
This guide will cover the steps required to safely remove the battery unit on
a Motorola V180. As well as installing a new battery unit. Before using this
guide, it is recommended to review the Motorola v180 manual to understand more
about the battery use, installing and charging of the battery unit.
Before beginning replacing the battery unit, make sure to power off the phone
completely and disconnect it from any external power source. Also, it is
strongly recommended to use only Motorola original batteries to not cause any
damage to the phone.
Step 1 — Battery
- Flip over the phone, press down the button and slide off the back cover.
- Completely power off the Motorola V180.
- Flip the phone over to its back side.
- Press down the button and slide off the back cover.
- Remove the old battery and install the new battery.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
