Please read this instruction carefully before using this product .
Safety Precautions
- Please read the manual.
- Always use your appliance from a power outlet of the voltage (A.C. only) marked on the appliance.
- Use a power supply with qualified protective grounding to ensure personal safety.
- Do not use near or on the surface of flammable or explosive articles; Do not use in damp environment or near other heat sources to avoid trouble and danger.
- Use this product on a stable platform that is not accessible to children.
- The product will emit steam when working. Do not put your face or hand near the steam outlet to avoid scald. Do not place objects that are afraid of steam above the product; Do not cover the steam outlet with a rag or similar items to avoid accidental product failure.
- When the product is working, the outer temperature is high, please do not touch it to avoid scald.
- The ceramic inner pot is only heated in this product. Do not heat the ceramic inner pot directly on open fire or on other stoves. And avoid hot ceramic parts in contact with cold water.
- The amount of water added shall be between the lowest water level and the highest water level. Too little or too much water can cause trouble and danger.
- When plugging in the power cord, it must be plugged in firmly to ensure good connection.
- Always keep the plugs and sockets dry. Do not use wet hands to insert or remove the plugs to prevent electric shock.
- Do not move the rice cooker while operating.
- When the product is operating, there may be a slight diming sound inside the product, which is the sound of the appliance adjusting the firepower and does not affect the normal operation.
- Press the “Keep Warm/Cancel” button in the working state and the product will return to standby state, that is, the display will show “00:00”. If the product is working and the whole heating process has not been completed automatically. Under the circumstances, press the “Keep Warm/Cancel” button to force the heating to stop, and then try to start the function to continue heating again, the food in the ceramic inner pot may be burned or occurring other abnormal phenomena due to multiple heating. Please try to avoid such operations during daily use.
- If the power is cut off halfway, the product will return to standby status and will need to be reset before it can continue to work.
- Cooking rice/porridge with boiled water does not shorten the stewing time. It will only make the rice cooked or the porridge worse. Please pay attention to it.
- After the product is operated, the temperature of the ceramic inner pot is very high. Please do not touch the ceramic inner pot to prevent scald.
- Caution risk of electric shock. Cook only in removable containers. This appliance is not intended for use by children or people with physical, sensory, or mental defects or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not use this appliance as a toy.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farmhouses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
- Do not put water over the Max level to avoid spillage on the connector.
- Please do not use appliances for any other purpose other than those described in this manual, otherwise it may cause potential harm caused by misuse.
- Before it is cleaned, power cord should be unplugged, and it cools down.
- Do not touch to body to avoid scalding as the temperature is high under working condition

Parts Identification
Remove the inner cover
- The ceramic inner pot is only heated in this product.
- Do not heat the ceramic inner pot directly on fire or on stoves.
- Avoid contact of ceramic parts with cold wa-ter while still hot.
- The ceramic inner pot is a fragile utensil. Please avoid collision with hard objects or fall from a high place.
Functions
- Before Function Selection Standby status: After the rice cooker is energized, the display screen displays “00:00”. At this time, the rice cooker is not heated and is in a standby state.
- Methods for measuring rice: Please use Right way Wrong way the measuring cup attached to this ricecooker to measure rice correctly (1 CUP= a flat cup when measuring rice, less orsharp will affect the cooking effect of rice or porridge).
- Water level adjustment method: When cooking rice/Multigrain Rice or porridge, select the corresponding water level according to the number of cups of added rice.
- Cooking 2 measuring cups of rice, first put the washed rice into the ceramic inner pot and add water to the scale mark of “2” on the side marked “Rice”.
- Cooking 1/2 measuring cup of rice for porridge, first put the washed rice into the ceramic inner pot, and add water to the scale mark of “1/2” on the side marked “Porridge”

Notes
- The amount of water added can be adjusted appropriately according to individual preferences and the quality of the rice used.
- When selecting the “Porridge” function, please do not exceed the highest water level of “Porridge” on the ceramic inner pot wall after adding water.
- When selecting the “Soup” function, the height of the material after filling water should not exceed the maximum water level of the “Rice” on the wall of the ceramic inner pot.
- Please refer to the water level of “Soft Rice” or functional water level of “Multigrain Rice”.
- When choosing “Claypot Rice”, it is advised to add a maximum of 2 cups of rice.
- Wash the rice in another container and pour it into a ceramic inner pot.
- Please use another container to wash the rice, pour it into the ceramic inner pot, add water in proportion, and spread the rice evenly in the ceramic inner pot.
Drying Tips
Dry the periphery and bottom of the ceramic inner pot with a dry and clean,
soft cloth, put the ceramic inner pot into the pot body, lightly press the
ceramic inner pot in place, and rotate it left and right a few times to make
it close to the aluminum pot. When closing the outer lid, press the middle
position of the front slightly. When you hear a click, the lid of the pot is
covered.
Rice
- Press the “Rice” function. The “Rice” indicator will flash, after 6 seconds, the “Rice” indicator will change from flashing to constant on, and the display will show ” ” dynamic rotation, indicating that the rice cooker starts to enter the fully automatic cooking state.
- After the rice is cooked, it will automatically jump to the Keep Warm mode, at this time the keep warm indicator light is on, and the display shows the timing.

Porridge
- Press the “Porridge” function, the “Porridge” indicator will flash, and the display will flash “01:00” (default time is 1.0 hours). At this time, you can press “Hour”, “Minute” to adjust the time of cooking fragrant glutinous porridge. The minimum time is 50 minutes, and the maximum is 2 hours (the time can be adjusted during the working process); after 6 seconds after the selected time, the “Porridge” indicator will change from flashing to constant on, and the display will display the selected time.
- Time and count down, the two dots in the middle flash, indicating that the rice cooker starts to enter the working state of automatic porridge cooking.
Soup
- Wash the soup ingredients and put them in the ceramic inner pot, add an appropriate amount of water (do not exceed the maximum water level), and close the lid tightly.
- Press the “Soup” function, the “Soup” indicator light will flash, and the display will flash “02:00” (the default time is 2 hours). At this time, you can press “Hour”, “Minute” to adjust the time of “Soup”. The minimum is 1.5 hours, and the maximum is 4 hours (the time can be adjusted during the working process); the indicator light of “Soup” changes from flashing to constant on, the display shows the selected time and counts down, and the two dots in the middle flash, indicating that the rice cooker starts to enter the working state of making soup.
- After the countdown is completed, it will automatically jump to the Keep Warm mode.
Multigrain Rice
- Press the “Multigrain Rice” function, the “Multigrain Rice” indicator will flash, and after 6 seconds, the “Multigrain Rice” indicator will flash and turn into a steady light, and the display will show ” ” dynamic rotation, indicating that the rice cooker starts to enter the working state of automatic cooking of multigrain rice.
- After the rice is cooked, it will automatically jump to the Keep Warm mode, at this time the keep warm indicator light is on, and the display shows the timing.
Claypot Rice
- Press the ” Claypot Rice ” function, the ” Claypot Rice ” indicator will flash, and after 6 seconds, the ” Claypot Rice ” indicator will flash and turn into a steady light, and the display will display ” ” dynamic rotation, indicating that the rice cooker starts to enter the working state of automatic cooking of clay pot rice.
- After the rice is cooked, it will automatically jump to the Keep Warm mode, at this time the keep warm indicator light is on, and the display shows the timing.
Warm Tips
- Slow-cooked ingredients, such as meat, beans and rice should be put into the pot at the same time; for fast-cooked ingredients, such as vegetables, you can wait for the five groups of “Di-Di-Di” sounds to be displayed during the cooking process before adding them into the pot.
- Add an appropriate amount of peanut oil when cooking rice to make it more delicious.
- It is recommended to use 2 cups of rice for cooking clay pot rice, and the maximum should not exceed 3 cups of rice.
Soft Rice
- Press the ” Soft Rice” function, the “Soft Rice” indicator light flashes, after 6 seconds, the “Soft Rice” indicator light flashes and turn into a steady light, the display shows ” ” dynamic rotation, indicating that e rice cooker start to enter the working state of automatic cooking of fragrant soft rice.
- After the rice is cooked, it will automatically jump to the Keep Warm mode, at this time the keep warm indicator light is on, and the display shows the timing.
Reservation
It is recommended that the reservation time should not be too long when making a reservation in summer to avoid the deterioration of the food. When using the “Preset” function for cooking, add a little more water than normal cooking. The display shows “00:00” when the power is on.
Press the “Preset” button to schedule, the default is 2 hours, the display shows ”02:00″, the time can be adjusted. Each time the “Hour” key is pressed, the number increases by “1” (1 hour) and stacks up in sequence. It can be reserved up to ”23″, and it will return to zero if you press it again, and the cycle will repeat; each time you press “Minute”, the number increases by “5” (5 minutes) and stacks up in sequence. It can reserve a maximum of “55”, and press again to return to zero, repeating the cycle. After setting the appointment time, press the function key (cooking rice, multigrain rice, clay pot rice, nutrition soup, glutinous porridge, and soft rice), and the selection will be selected after 6 seconds. The indicator light and the reservation indicator light corresponding to the function and turn into a steady light, and the display screen shows the set time and counts down, indicating that the reservation is successful. After starting to work, the appointment indicator light does not light up, and the indicator light corresponding to the selected function continues to light up.
Keep Warm/Cancel
In the standby state, put the food that needs to be kept warm into the ceramic inner pot, add an appropriate amount of warm water and close the lid tightly. Press the “Keep Warm/Cancel” button. The “Keep Warm/Cancel” indicator light changes from flashing to a steady light. At this time, the display shows “00: 00”, and the two dots in the middle are flashing and timing, indicating that the rice cooker starts to enter the Keep Warm mode.During the working process of any cooking function, press the “Keep Warm/Cancel” key can cancel.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning method

Be sure to unplug and carry out these operations when the appliance is cooled down.

Do not wipe with chemicals, hard brushes, stainless steel wire balls, etc.
The ceramic inner pot should be wiped with clean, soft cloth or towel. During the cleaning process, do not wipe with hard steel wire to avoid damaging the surface. Except for ceramic inner pot, movable inner cover, and steam hood assembly, do not immerse the power cord and products into water or flush, to avoid water inflow of electrical appliances and failure, which may affect safe use. -
Do not soak or rinse the outer shell of the rice cooker with water, wipe with a well-wrung cloth.

After each use, remove the movable inner cover and steam hood assembly and clean them.

Clean it in time after use to prevent some dirt from adhering to the surface of the parts and being difficult to remove.If the product is not used for a long time, please clean it and put it into the packing box. It should be stored in a dry place.

It’s important to note that this warranty is valid only in the country of purchase.
Kylin guarantees this product against defects caused by faulty workmanship and materials for 12 months domestic use (or 3 months commercial use) from the date of purchase. During this warranty period,Kylin will repair any defective product. If the product includes a number of accessories, only the defective part or accessory will be replaced. Kylin reserves the right to make minor adjustments instead of replacing the product or accessory. Packaging, instructions, recipes etc will also not be replaced unless faulty. In the event of a product or accessory being replaced during the warranty period, the warranty on the replacement product will expire 12 months from the purchase date of the original product, not 12 months from the date of the replacement.
To the extent permitted by law, this Kylin 12 months warranty excludes liability for consequential loss or any other loss or damage caused to property or persons arising from any cause whatsoever. It also excludes defects caused by the product not being used in accordance with Instructions, accidental damage, misuse, or being tampered with by unauthorised persons, excludes breakables such as glass and ceramic items, consumable items and normal wear and tear and does not cover the cost of claiming under the warranty or transporting the goods to and from the place of purchase.
