Installation
-
Installing the suction assist bar
NOTE: The flip-up easy release tabs (B) should be loose at this point. Ensure that the rubber discs (A) are completely on the tile area or other smooth surface so that the discs do not cover any grout lines or other joints.
□ Clean the rubber discs (A) and the surface it is to be attached to thoroughly. (Alcohol helps)
□ Push the bar as hard as you could ageist the wall till the indicators turn green (80-90% at least). Press down on the flip-up easy release tabs (B) one by one, you will feel negative pressure. The greater the pressure, the better the suction . -
Testing the suction assist bar before use
NOTE: The indicators on the side of the suction cup will change from red to green when a safe and secure hold is achieved.
□ Before each use, test the firm hold of the suction device. Ensure that both indicators (C) are GREEN (80-90% at least).
□ If the adhesion seems insufficient, release the suction assist bar and reattach again.
□ If the required suction power has not been achieved, do not use the suction assist bar.
Note: The indicators are small color painted plaquettes driven by the
springs underneath, they spin when certain pressure is achieved.
But they are not 100% precise. Sometimes they are about 80-90% green, but when
you test, the bar is firmly hold, it means the suction is working.
