-
To mount the RBS PRO G2 Wrapper to an aluminum base (not included), you will need the Mounting Hardware (P) and the Mounting Tools (Q). Align the pre-drilled holes of the Aluminum Drive Stand (A) to the pre-drilled holes of the aluminum base.
-
Install the mounting hardware starting on the side with the control box (C). Each bolt should have a lock washer, flat washer, and lock nut. Remove the lock nut, then install the bolt (with lock washer and flat washer) from the bottom side of the aluminum track. Once the bolt is pushed through the pre-drilled holes, apply the lock nut to the bolt and hand tighten. Use the included mounting tools to properly secure the hardware. Repeat this process on the opposite side of the drive stand.
FEATURES & USES
DIGITAL VOLTAGE READOUT
The digital readout will display a number in volts. At rest, this number will
typically be around 120 volts (+/- 5). The Power Knob is used to control
speed. Once you find a speed you prefer, you can reference the voltage number
for repeatability.
ADJUSTABLE MOTOR PLATE & PULLEYS
Allows the builder to fine tune the alignment of the motor plate and pulleys.
The plate and pulleys are preset to the optimal position for proper belt
tension. Only adjust if necessary.
INDEXED CHUCK
With 15 degree increments, the indexed chuck is helpful for spiral wrapped
rods or designing a decorative thread wrap. Tighten by turning clockwise or
loosen by turning counter-clockwise.
TWO DRIVE BELTS
Toothed belt is recommended for the wrapping motor and the silicone belt is
recommended for the drying motor.
CONCAVE & CONVEX TEETH
Interchangeable teeth allow the chuck to securely hold a wide range of rod
blanks and mandrels.
