Safety Instructions

Read and follow the safety instructions below:

  • The lamp is not waterproof. Avoid exposing it to splashes or drops of water.
  • The working temperature should be between -1 Oto 40°C (14 to 104°F).
  • Avoid installing the lamp near heat sources.
  • Avoid installing the lamp near potentially dangerous sources (e.g., candles, liquid-filled objects).
  • The internal light source of the lamp cannot be replaced. If it breaks, you must replace the lamp.
  • Only use this device with a SVDC 2A power adapter.
  • Avoid placing the lamp in high places, where it could fall and cause damage to the buttons and internal elements of the device.

Installing Your Device

  1. Place the lamp on the charging base and connect it to the adapter.
  2. Plug the adapter into power to complete the installation.

Using the Bluetooth Mode:

  1. When using the device for the first time, single click the Bluetooth button to enter the pairing.
  2. Open the Bluetooth on the smartphone and connect to the device. Choose “Govee Night Light.”Govee-H6057-RGBIC-Night-Light-for-Kids-FIG-4

lf you want to connect and play audio/music from other devices on the Night Light’s speaker, press and hold the Bluetooth button for 3s to enter Pairing Mode and select Govee Night Light in your device’s Bluetooth settings.

Pairing Your Device with the Govee Home App

What You Need:

  • A Wi-Fi router supporting the 2.4GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands. 5GHz is not supported.

  1. Download Govee Home App from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
  2. Turn on the Bluetooth in your smartphone.
  3. Open the app, tap the “+” icon in the top right corner and search “H6057”.

Troubleshooting

  1. Cannot connect the device to Govee Home App.
    • Ensure the device is powered on.
    • Check if the Bluetooth on your smartphone is enabled or try connecting with another smartphone.
    • When connecting for the first time, ensure your smartphone is close to the device.
    • lf you’re still experiencing a connection error, delete the connected device from the “My Device” page on the app. Then, reconnect to Govee Home App, following the instructions provided previously.
  2. The device lost connection.
    • Ensure the device is powered on.
    • Shorten the distance between the device and the router to less than 50 inches, then reconnect.
    • If the device continues to lose connection, delete the connected device from the “My Device” page on the app. Then, reconnect to Govee Home App, following the instructions provided previously.
  3. Cannot pair or connect with Alexa or Google Assistant.
    • Ensure the stability of the Wi-Fi connection.
    • Go to the “Device Settings” page and click “User Guide” to follow the instructions to pair the device again.
    • Check if the device is on Battery Saver Mode on the Device Settings page. Online functions are not supported under this mode.
  4. The synchronization effect for Music Mode is not working properly.
    • Ensure the mic is close to the music source to help pick up sounds better.
    • Try switching the mic source to the smartphone.
  5. Can multiple users control the same device?
    • Each device can only be controlled by one account.
    • If multiple users want to control the same device, ensure that they are all using the same account.
  6. The device has no sound or white noise.
    • The device will preferentially display the sound of devices that is under the Bluetooth Mode and cannot response to other sounds.
    • Please check if the Prompt Tone and Silent Power-Up are activated on the “Device Settings” page.
  7. Cannot control the device.
    • Please check if the device is close to the high temperature heat source or not because it will trigger the high temperature protection and will only return to normal when it is not.
