BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers before using the appliance for the first time.
  • The device is powered by a rechargeable battery. Before using the device for the first time, charge the battery for a full day.
  • Rinse both brush heads before use.

USE

  1. Make sure the hand unit is completely charged.
  2. Attach the brush head to the hand unit.
  3. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and wet the brush head before you brush. You can use normal toothpaste. To avoid splashing, place the brush head on your teeth before you turn on the toothbrush.
  4. Now move the brush head on the chewing surfaces of your teeth. Move the brush head on the outside of your teeth and then the inside. Make sure that you brush in the spaces between your teeth as well as your gums. You do not need to press hard. Clinical tests have shown that the best cleaning method is by moving the brush head softly from tooth to tooth without exerting pressure.
  5. To remove plaque, brush your teeth for at least 2 minutes. This is the recommended time each time you brush your teeth. The toothbrush has a timer. After 30 seconds, the device will rotate in the other direction to indicate that you brushed for 30 seconds. This will occur again after 1 minute and 1.5 minutes. After 2 minutes, the toothbrush will stop. If you want to brush some more, press the on-switch again. The device will work again for 2 minutes.
  6. Rinse your mouth thoroughly after brushing. The brush changing shape after use is normal. This is due to the way you brush your teeth personally. This does not affect the efficiency of the brush.

The device has 3 settings. You select an option by pressing the selection button under the on-off switch until the appropriate lamp is lit:

  • Clean: for daily, thorough brushing of your teeth
  • Sensitive: clean your teeth softly and mildly, this is the perfect mode for sensitive teeth
  • Massage: this brushing option stimulates blood flow and helps heal inflamed gums
Charging

To maximise the capacity and service life of the rechargeable batteries, the batteries should be fully charged for 24 hours before first use and then let it fully discharge during use. Then charge again up to the maximum capacity. The charging/discharging process must occur every six months.

  1. Insert the plug of the charging cradle into a power socket. The charging cradle can be connected to any power socket with an output voltage of 100 to 240 Volts.
  2. Place the rechargeable hand unit facing forwards in the charging cradle. The red indicator lamp will light up. The lamps above the different programs will start to light up incrementally. This indicates that the device is charging.
  3. The red lamp turns green when the battery is fully charged.

The hand unit can warm up a little during the charging process. This does not affect how the hand unit works. The hand unit cannot be overloaded. To maintain the optimal capacity of the rechargeable hand unit, it must be always placed in the charging cradle after use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • To maintain the optimal functioning of the brush head, rinse the brush head after use for several seconds under flowing water with the hand unit turned on.
  • Clean the hand unit by holding it under flowing water. Dry off the hand unit. After cleaning, place the hand unit back in the charging cradle.
  • Every two to four weeks, keep the brush head hygienic by steep it in denture cleaner (available at a chemist or pharmacy).
  • Make sure that the holes at the back of the brush are always kept free. If necessary, remove caked toothpaste.
