BATTERY ACTIVATION AND REPLACEMENT MUST BE COMPLETED BY AN ADULT

WARNING: Remove pull tab before playing with Space Rover (illus. 1 ).

To replace batteries:

1. Turn over the Space Rover and locate the battery door.
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) remove the screw and battery compartment cover.
3. Install three (3) LR44 button cell batteries (not included) making sure the(+) and (-) ends face the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartment (illus. 2).
4. Replace the compartment cover and tighten the screw.

• WARNING – KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
• Swallowing may lead to serious injury in as little as 2 hours or death, due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the esophagus.
• If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted a button battery immediately call the 24-hour
• Poisons Information Centre on 13 1126 (Australia)/ your local emergency services for fast, expert advice.
• Examine devices and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured, e.g. that the screw or other mechanical fastener is tightened. Do not use if compartment is not secure.
• Dispose of used button batteries immediately and safely. Flat batteries can still be dangerous.
• Adults shall tell potential users about the risk of button batteries and keep their children away from button cell. Adult supervision is required.

BATTERY SAFE TY INFORMATION

• Use only size LR44 button cell batteries (3 required).
• Charging of rechargeable batteries should only be done under adult supervision.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before recharging.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
• Be sure to insert the batteries correctly and follow the toy and battery manufacturer’s instruction.
• Always remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
• Dispose of dead batteries properly: do not burn or bury them.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Avoid short-circuiting battery terminals.
• Remove batteries before placing the unit into storage for a prolonged period of time.
