WARNING

Failure to follow all warnings and instructions may result in serious injury or death. For your child’s safety, read the labels and owner’s manual before using the product.

  • Before use, check that the product and all of its components have not been damaged during transportation. Check regularly that the product is not broken or damaged. If the product is broken or damaged, keep out of reach of children.
  • The product must only be assembled by an adult. For the correct assembly of the product, please refer to the following instructions.
  • WARNING – STAIR HAZARD
    • Avoid serious injury or death.
    • Block stairs/steps securely before using walker.
  • WARNING: The child will be able to reach further and move rapidly when in the walking frame:
  • When using the walker ensure that the child cannot access stairs, uneven surfaces, slopes or unstable floors, swimming pools or other sources of water. Only use the baby walking frame on flat, stable surfaces.
  • Never leave child unattended. Always keep child in view while in walker.
  • Do not use the walker frame near sources of heat or cookers.
  • Keep hot drinks, electrical appliances and other sources of danger at a safe distance, away from the child’s reach.
  • Prevent collisions with glass in doors, windows and furniture.
  • This walker frame is intended to be used by children who can sit unaided, approximately 6 months old. It is not intended for children weighing more than 26 lbs, or able to walk unassisted.
  • To use the walker safely, the child’s height must not exceed 33″.
  • It is recommended to use the walker frame for short periods of time (less than 20 minutes).
  • Do not use the walker frame if any components are broken or missing.
  • Do not use replacement parts other than those approved by Chicco.
  • Avoid burns. Never put hot liquids in cup holder. Max weight in cupholder 1lb (0.5 kg).
  • Strangulation Hazard: Strings can cause strangulation! DO NOT place items with a string around your child’s neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. DO NOT suspend strings over the activity center or attach strings to toys.
  • Keep all plastic bags and any other packaging away from the reach of children to prevent the risk of suffocation.
  • Clean brake pads regularly to maintain stopping performance.

How to Assemble Walker

  1. Turn the Walker Frame (A) upside down. Insert the Front Swivel Wheels (C) into the socket located at the front corners of the Walker Frame as shown. Ensure that the wheels are firmly pushed all the way into the socket.
  2. Insert the Rear Fixed Wheels (D) into the socket located at the rear of the Walker Frame as shown. Ensure that the wheels snap lock clicks into place. The snap lock should be visible through the opening.chicco-07087006470070-Mod-Infant-Walker-FIG-5
  3. Insert the Brake Pads (E) into the sockets located around the bottom of the Walker Frame as shown. Ensure that the Brake Pads are firmly pushed all the way into each of the sockets.chicco-07087006470070-Mod-Infant-Walker-FIG-6
  4. To raise the Walker Frame, pull up on the upper tray while pressing down on the lower base until a “click” is heard. This is the first locked seating position. Push down on the Tray before each use to make sure the seat position is locked.
  5. Insert the plastic rings on the Padded Seat (B) into the slots located on the upper edge of the Walker Frame (A). Reach under the upper tray and pull the rings through the slots. Check to make sure that each plastic ring is locked into the position as shown and cannot be pulled back through the slot.chicco-07087006470070-Mod-Infant-Walker-FIG-8
  6. Insert the tabs on the Spoiler (F) into the slots located at the back of the seat opening. Rotate the Spoiler down and press firmly until it latches in the back. Pull up on the Spoiler to make sure it is properly attached. When the Spoiler has been fitted, it can no longer be removed. Do not try to remove the Spoiler using screwdrivers or other tools.

When opening, closing, or adjusting the walker make sure your child is at a safe distance. Before placing your child in the walker push down on the tray to make sure that the height adjustment is properly latched.

To adjust the height of the seat: Remove your child from the walker. Reach under the front of the walker tray and locate the release latch. Turn the red release latch and push up on the latch to allow the seat height to be raised or lowered. Folding the Walker

WARNING

When opening, closing, or adjusting the walker make sure your child is at a safe distance.

To close the walker: Remove your child from the walker. Reach under the front of the walker tray and locate the release latch. Turn the red release latch and push up on the latch (see step 10) to allow the seat height to be lowered. Lower the seat height until the walker is completely closed. Use caution when lowering the seat; hands can be pinched.chicco-07087006470070

Cleaning and Maintenance

The cleaning and maintenance of the Walker must only be carried out by an adult.

CLEANING
The fabric seat can be removed (please refer to the section 5 and reverse the step). Please refer to the care labels for instructions on how to clean the fabric seat.
It is recommended to periodically wipe clean plastic parts with a soft damp cloth. Always dry the metal parts to prevent the formation of rust if the Walker has come into contact with water.
Protect the walker from heat, dust, sand, and water.
Plastic can be cleaned with mild detergent and warm water, no bleach or harsh cleaners/abrasives.

MAINTENANCE
This product requires regular maintenance. Periodically check the Walker for wear, damage, or missing components. Should any parts be missing or damaged, the Walker must not, under any circumstances, be used.
