Connecting to Bluetooth®
- Turn your speaker on by pressing and holding the power button on the rear of the van. The LED will flash yellow and the speaker will sound to show it is switched on. This will automatically switch the Bluetooth on too.
- The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last device it was paired to. If the device is not in range, or it is the first time you have connected, it will go into pairing mode.
- You can now pair your device with the speaker. Make sure Bluetooth is activated on your device, then select VW Camper from the list of available devices.
- The speaker will sound when the device has been successfully connected, and the LED will turn to a solid yellow light. Using your device you can now play music. Use the device controls to change the volume.
Troubleshooting
If you are having problems connecting, it may be because another device is
already connected.
Press the power button for 1 second to break this connection (any longer will
turn the unit off).
If you are still having problems turn your Bluetooth and the speaker off, then
restart the instructions listed above.
Using the audio jack
If your device does not support Bluetooth, you will need to use an AUX cable (not included) to connect directly to the speaker. When this type of connection is used the Bluetooth mode will switch off automatically, and the LED will not light.

Charging
Low battery warning:
When the battery is low the unit will beep every 30 seconds.

Care and Maintenance
Clean with a soft, lint free cloth. This is a closed unit. Do not attempt to
disassemble. Do not short-circuit the batteries! There is risk of explosions
and fire! Keep away from rain or moisture. There is risk of fire and/or damage
to the unit. Do not operate near open water. Keep away from sources of heat or
burning objects. Never listen to music at very high volumes! This can damage
your hearing.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and
can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
