Standard Lock Operation
The lock operates with a six-digit code. Locks are set-up by the safe manufacturer and set to 1-2-3-d-5-6. After entry of a valid code a double beep will follow. An invalid entry is followed by a long beep. After 10 seconds without entry, current code being entered will be cancelled.
Change USER Code (With Safe Door OPEN)
Press and Hold Key [0] until double beep. The LED remains on during the following actions:
- Enter active user code (double beep)
- Enter new code (double beep) and repeat new code (double beep)
- Try new code
- In case of entry errors (long beep), the old code remains valid
General Information
The keypad is equipped with an LED to illuminate the keypad when necessary.
Press the light button on the lower left hand side of the keypad to enable the
LED.
A series of beeps indicates that the battery is weak and must be replaced. Use
only 9Volt ALKALINE—batteries!
The battery compartment is located at the bottom of the entry unit.
Manipulation protection:
Entry of four consecutive wrong user codes will disable lock for 5 minutes.
During this period, the LED flashes every 10 seconds and any key pressed
causes a long beep. After 5 minutes, entry of two more wrong user codes,
restarts the 5 minute lock out period.
Security reference:
All codes are to be securely stored. Do not use personal data (i.e.
birthdays, telephone numbers etc.) as the code.
Code change: Only change the code with safe door open.
