Operating instructions / Hammock Chair
- Seat surface: about 70x100cm
- Maximum Load: 100kg
- Purpose of application: Hammock chair for being fixed at the hanging points
Operating instructions:
- Take the hammock chair out of the bag and check if the material is faultless. In the case that the material is not faultless despite rigorous production and quality control, stop immediately to use the hammock chair.
- Fix the hammock chair on one trunk of a tree or other strong hanging points.
- Hold the hammock chair strongly and sit in the middle of the chair slowly. Then lay down legs.
- Instruction for ground conditions: please use your hammock on soft ground like green ground, if on hard ground please use a mat under hammock chair to avoid hurting.
- Keep these instructions for further reference.
Safety instructions
- Read the operating instructions before using the hammock chair.
- Make sure before using the hammock chair that the ropes are fixed strongly enough so that a release or slipping of the ropes is excluded.
- The height of the hanging points of the hammock chair should be chosen in the way that it is comfortable to sit down. The appropriate height of seat is 70 cm over the ground, height more than this level should be avoided.
- Make sure before using the hammock chair that the ropes are fixed on the hanging points and objects strongly enough so that they possess the required carrying ability of 100 kg and are stable to a sufficient extent. Depending upon loading (max. 100 kg) tensile force up to 8 KN per hanging point can occur.
- The hammock chair is not allowed to be used as a swing –maximal range of swing 15°.
- Do not put anything under the hammock chair.
- Do not jump onto or on the hammock chair.
- The hammock chair should be fixed only by adults, children (12 years at least) are only allowed to use the hammock chair under supervision of adults.
- Put soft padding material under the hammock chair for safety purposes in the case that the ground is hard.
- Check the hammock chair, fixing ropes as well as the hanging points carefully in connection with damages and a safe seat before each use.
For keeping the hammock chair:
The hammock chair can be rolled and packed in bag after use. But wait until it
gets dry in the case that the hammock is wet.
