COMES READY ASSEMBLED
The Anti-Vibration Adaptor consists of 4 Plates, (2 Isolation and 2
intermediate Plates). The Intermediate Plates have a total of 16 Anti-
Vibration Grommets to absorb the frequencies that are often generated by an
HVAC Unit and the (4) Rings Mounts that provide Isolation. The entire assembly
is then attached between two lengths of Projector Poles.
TO BE TOTALLY EFFECTIVE CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS HAVE TO BE MET
Installers must first calculate the total Hung Weight of the Projector, Mount
and Nipple beneath where the Isolation Adaptor is to be placed.
It is important that the Installer maintains the correct position of the Pole
with respect to the Center of Gravity, failure
to do so can cause premature failure of the Isolating Mounts and the entire
assembly to “Swing out of Balance”.
CORRECT POSITIONING IS ALSO MOST IMPORTANT
The Anti-Vibration Adaptor should be installed as close as possible to the Projector’s Mount. It is recommended that this should ideally be 6″ or less but no more than 12″ distance. In order to maintain the original Projector’s Height Position, reduce the Projector’s original Pipe length by the added length of the Nipple and the Anti-Vibration Adaptor.
ORDERING GUIDE
In addition to the weight of the projector and its mount, factor in the weight
of the nipple below the Isolation Adaptor.
For Example: A 6″ Steel Nipple weighs approximately 2.5 lbs
Dimension of the Anti-Vibration Isolating Device: 4″ x 4″ x 5″ (includes the 2
pipe couplings). Shipping Weight is 3 lbs
