Introduction

Plasma is an advanced technology that is taking over modern aesthetic medicine. Plasma treatments have the same rejuvenating effect as plastic surgery; however, they are non-invasive and do not interrupt tissue continuity. Plasma is the fourth state of matter in the form of ionised gas. Gas particles are ionised into a mixture of atoms, electrons, and free radicals under the influence of temperature or high pressure, and this state is called plasma. The facial skin care plasma device uses low-temperature and high-pressure plasma technology, and through the painless micro-discharges it generates ozone, an electromagnetic field, charged particles, active groups, and a range of substances that have a beneficial effect on the skin. Preparation for the treatment — basic information

Water resistance
The device has an IPX5 water resistance standard, but is not completely water resistant. Accessories are not water resistant.

Advice on contact of the device with water:

• Do not use the product in the bathroom, shower or other humid and wet places.
• Do not immerse the charging port.
• Do not immerse or wash the device directly in water.
• Do not immerse the device in any container filled with water. Keep the device away from humid and wet places.

Contraindications for use on certain body areas
The device must not be used in around the eyes, ears, Adam’s apple and mouth, as shown in the shaded parts of the figure on the right.

Detailed user manual Charging

Before using the device, it should be charged. When the charging indicator changes colour from red to white, this means that charging is completed.

Charging time

Disconnect the device from the power supply when charging is completed.
Leaving the device connected to the power supply after complete charging might shorten the battery life.

Switching the power on/off

• Briefly press the button to switch on the device.
• Hold the button for 1 second to switch off the device
• The device switches off automatically after 10 minutes.

Change of intensity level

1. Switch on the device, after switching on, the default intensity level is set to low
2. Press the button to increase the intensity level

Principles of treatment

ANTI-ACNE TREATMENT
High-energy plasma produces active plasma materials, such as O, 03, OH, NO and neutral active particles. By penetrating the cell barrier, these materials destroy the molecular structures of bacteria and fungi leading to bacterial apoptosis. In this way, treatments prevent the formation of new lesions and skin inflammation. Plasma is applied pointwise on a strictly defined treatment area, where it thoroughly cleanses the skin from imperfections caused by acne. Thus, it restores the uniform skin texture, significantly smooths the skin making an excellent protective barrier.

SKIN REGENERATION/INTENSIVE REJUVENATION
The device emits plasma micro-discharges causing immediate micro-exfoliation from the epidermis to the superficial dermis. On the one side, it supports rearrangement of disordered collagen fibres in scars, and on the other, it stimulates fibroblasts to synthesise new collagen fibres. The treatments reduce the visibility of scars and remodels skin tissues. Use of low- temperature plasma helps the production of collagen, changes the skin’s lipid properties and accelerates microcirculation, thus the treatments rejuvenate even heavily damaged skin. Plasma visibly increases hydrophilicity, which improves hydration. Additionally, it temporarily opens the skin barrier supporting the absorption of nutrients contained in skin care products.

Preparation
Before the treatment, you should remove makeup, thoroughly cleanse your skin and then pat it dry.

ANTI-ACNE TREATMENT
Holding the device, make circular motions on the area with acne. After 10 seconds, perform the treatment on the next area of skin with acne. In case of areas requiring intensive care, repeat the treatment 2-3 times. After the treatment, use a skin tonic and a serum. The last step of the skin care is to gently massage in a cream.

SKIN REGENERATION/INTENSIVE REJUVENATION
Holding the device, move it slowly from bottom to top in the direction indicated by the arrow. The movement from the starting point to the end point should last approximately 3-5 seconds. The treatment should be repeated 3-5 times. After the treatment, do your daily skin care according to your skin’s needs and your habits. Do not perform any skin care treatments too close to your eyes or throat.

Gulidelines:

1. When using the device for the first time, it is recommended to select a low setting and limit the time of use to 2-3 minutes for the entire face. During consecutive treatments, it is recommended to progressively switch the device to higher settings and increase the time of use. Do not use the device for longer than 10 minutes for the entire face during one session.
2. An effect of using the device will be increased absorbability of beauty products. Thus, you should choose beauty products proper for your skin, remembering to avoid products containing alcohol or stronger acids.
3. It is recommended to use the device as a final step of evening care. Use of the device during the day requires protection of the face with a strong SPF filter.
4. Sound and smell will be emitted during use of the device. It is a natural phenomenon occurring during the generation of plasma, which does not require any additional action.
5. The charging port must be closed with the silicone plug during the treatment.
6. In the case of using the plasma mode, the tonic is applied after the treatment.

Contraindications

• The device is not intended for children under the age of 15 years. Teenagers between the age of 15 and 18 years old may use the device with the permission and/or under the supervision of parents or guardians.
• Do not use the device if skin in the area where the treatment is to be performed is tanned or reddened. Using the device on tanned or reddened skin may cause temporary or even permanent discolouration of the skin.
• Do not use the device if you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, suspect you may be pregnant, or you are breastfeeding. The device has not been tested for this, so it should not be used in these cases. Hormonal changes occurring during pregnancy or breastfeeding may increase the risk of skin damage or skin sensitivity.
• Do not use the device if you have a medical condition such as epilepsy, epileptic seizures or migraine. The energy flashes can cause severe headaches and migraines.
• Do not use on tattooed skin areas, dark brown or black areas (such as dark freckles, birthmarks or warts). Tattoos or dark spots might absorb too much light energy which can cause swelling of the skin, temporary or permanent blistering, discolouration or skin bleaching.
• Do not use the device if you have a tendency to form scars.
• Do not use if any active skin inflammation, such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, burns, cold sores, epidermal abrasion, or rash, is present in the treatment area. These factors can make the skin more sensitive to light, make the treatment unpleasant or cause swelling, blistering or infection of the skin. Consult your doctor before using the device to determine whether your skin is sufficiently healed.
• Do not use the device if you are taking medicines that sensitise the skin to light, including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. aspirin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen), tetracyclines, phenothiazines, thiazides, diuretics, sulphonylurea, sulfonamides, DTICs, fluorouracil, vinblastine, griseofulvin, Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHAS), Beta-Hydroxy Acids (BHAS), Retin-A, Accutane and/or topical retinoids.

Precautions

• Do not use the device for purposes other than those for which the product is intended.
• Do not share this product with family members or others. Cross-infection may occur.
• Do not use the product in a flammable or explosive environment.
• Do not use the appliance simultaneously with other electrical products (cosmetic appliances, etc.).
• Do not use a power source out of the range of 100~240V to charge the device.
• Do not use the product or accessories if they are damaged.
• Do not soak or wash the device directly under water or immerse it in a sink or bathtub.
• Do not use the product with wet hands.
• Do not drop the main unit of the device, do not hit it or expose it to strong shocks.
• Do not use any other charger than the one delivered with the product as it can cause malfunction of the product.
• In case of pain, allergies or any other side effects during use, immediately stop using the product and consult your doctor.
• Do not place the main unit of the device in areas of high temperature, humidity or directly in sunlight.

Cleaning

The device is not water resistant. After each treatment, wipe the product with a dry towel. Do not use corrosive substances to clean the device.

Storage

Store the device in a cool, dry place which is inaccessible to children.

Electrical and electronic devices as well as batteries and accumulators must not be mixed with other household waste. This is indicated by the symbol of the crossed out basket on the packaging. Worn-out electric and electronic equipment as well as batteries and accumulators should be delivered to local separate waste collection points or to the seller, and for details inquire in your commune. Electrical and electronic equipment as well as batteries and accumulators may contain hazardous substances, mixtures and components harmful to the environment and human health. Improper handling or damage to them may lead to health detriment or environmental pollution during further disposal or recycling of the equipment.
