Introduction

Microsoft has reviewed and approved the HyperX CloudX Gaming Headset, which offers the legendary comfort, dependability, and excellent sound for Xbox gamers. With the help of CloudX’s easy in-line audio controls, you can bypass system menus and have complete control at your fingertips. The strong aluminum frame is built to be durable and resist the demanding demands of daily gaming life. For those long weekends and late-night gaming sessions, the 100% memory foam ear cushions and leatherette-padded headband offer award-winning comfort. The closed cup design mutes the outside world while the 53mm drivers and improved bass reproduction blast out crystal clear highs, mids, and lows to fully immerse you in your game.

You can adjust the noise-cancelling microphone to your preferred position, and it also cancels out background noise so you can be heard clearly. Mobile devices are also compatible with CloudX. Simply unplug the microphone when you’re ready to listen to music and put it away for later.

MICROPHONE

The flexible, detachable mic is simple to position where you like it and can be taken out if you want to listen to music.

CABLE

The resilient braided cable is flexible and robust enough to handle the hazards of daily gaming.

IN-LINE AUDIO CONTROL

You can change the volume and mute the microphone with the help of the in-line audio controls without having to access the console’s settings.

HOW TO USE ON XBOX ONE

On the PS4 and Xbox One controllers, it is located on the bottom. This enables you to use the mic and listen to stereo sound through your headphones. If you own a HyperX Cloud II and wish to use your PS4 to enjoy 7.1 surround sound, you must first upgrade the PC’s software.

HOW TO CONNECT TO XBOX

As shown in the picture, take the stereo headset adapter and place it into the controller’s expansion port. Take the stereo headset and attach it to the adapter’s 3.5 mm jack connector. To change the sound and microphone volume, use the buttons on the adapter. Switch on the Xbox One.

FAQs

Does this function wirelessly with a computer? I often play Xbox games on my computer.****

This DOES NOT WORK ON A COMPUTER. I spent several days debugging my brand-new Windows 10 Professional PC as of the date I attempted it (1-15-21), but I was unable to make it work. I received confirmation from HyperX tech support that the CloudX Flight does NOT work on PC.

Is the surround sound 5.1 or 7.1?****

Answer: Few, if any, gaming headsets include more than one driver (also known as a speaker) per ear cup. For the most part, surround sound with gaming headsets is handled at the software level in games or through the OS.

How can I repair this? I recently got a headset and assumed it featured mic monitoring, however I can’t hear myself via the mic.****

Press and hold the mute button until you hear a tone. This turns on mic monitoring. To turn off, press and hold once more. The Xbox chat settings are overridden by the chat/game volume on the headset.

Those sound like surround? Are they 5.1 or 7.1 if so?****

5.1 or 7.1 refers to the number of speakers or subwoofers that are connected. For instance, 5.1 designates a center front speaker as well as front right, left, rear right, and left speakers, as well as a subwoofer. 7.1 merely adds two additional speakers, typically above or to the sides. Due to the fact that headsets only have one speaker per earcup, surround sound can be simulated.

Is there a cable available to connect an iPad to headphones?****

If you have a cable, you can attach it even though it doesn’t come with one. A 3.5 mm headphone jack is present.

Headphones plugged in, but the microphone is inoperative. The controllers and Xbox were updated, and everything was configured. Nothing new?****

There is a section for modifying the headset loudness in the Xbox controller settings, which you can access.

Does this headset come with a cord that will work with Xbox X out of the box, or do I need to buy one?****

No, I’ve been using them for both Xbox and PlayStation. Nothing more is required.

How much cable is there?****

I think it measures 3 feet long. Without a doubt, it has to be lengthier.

Does it have a plug or splitter for a computer?****

It has been merged into a single audio wire, eliminating the need for a splitter. Though most computers come with an audio port.

Hi. These headsets were just delivered for my son’s Xbox One, however the mic doesn’t seem to function. Do we have to do something to get the microphone work?****

The moment you plug the microphone into the controller, it should function. Because the female audio jack in the controller can be damaged, try it with several other controllers. Near the point where the cord splits, there is a volume rocker. Try modifying it as well.

Does wireless one function on Xbox series’?****

Look at the Amazon description.

Does the Xbox 360 support this?****

The answer is that Xbox 360 controllers only support voice communication and require 2.5mm headphone connectors.

By using mic monitoring to test the microphone, I am confident that it is functional. But when I’m playing, nothing is picked up. Am I performing incorrectly?****

There are two different types of communication on Xbox. Game talk, first 2) Party talk It won’t function if you’re in party chat and try to talk to someone in game chat. You may disable the microphone both in-game and in the settings. Verify those. On the headset, the mic can also be muted. The moment you do that, the mic turns red.

What’s going on? My headset has been charged all night, but it won’t turn on; there are no led lights, and there are no sounds when I hold the power button.****

To turn it on, you must hold down the button for a few seconds, possibly up to ten.

Does this work with standard controllers, or is a Microsoft Xbox controller required?****

I’m not sure, but my son’s Xbox remote is very functional.
