Product Usage Instructions

Setting Up Your Smart Tag Finder:

  1. Choose a recognizable name and emoji for your HST-FM02 and tap Continue.
  2. Tap Finish, and your Smart Tag Finder will be set up and ready to be connected to whatever you wish to locate, e.g., your keys.

Replacing the Battery:

  1. Slide the opening slider on the back of your Smart Tag Finder to carefully open the shells.
  2. Replace the battery with a new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive side is facing up.

Connecting Your Smart Tag Finder:

  1. Once HST-FM02 is located, tap Connect.
  2. Smart Tag Finder will ask for confirmation to add HST-FM02 to your Apple ID, tap Continue.

Resetting Your Smart Tag Finder:

  1. To factory reset your Smart Tag Finder, press the Smart Tag Finder’s function.
  2. Your Smart Tag Finder will now be reset and ready to be paired to a new iPhone or iPad.

Locating Your Smart Tag Finder:

  1. To find your Smart Tag Finder when it’s nearby, tap on it from the list in the app and tap Play Sound to make it beep.
  2. To find its last known location, open the app, select the Items tab, tap on your Smart Tag Finder from the list, and navigate to the location using Directions in the Apple Maps app.

Out of Range Notifications:

  1. To enable notifications when found or left behind, access the Notifications settings in the app and toggle Notify When Found or Notify When Left Behind accordingly.

Add Your Smart Tag Finder

Stat the APP: Open Find My™ on your supported iPhone or iPad and allow notifications from the APP .

  1. Press the button to power on
  2. Select ” Items” tab, then tap ” Add Item”, and next tap ” Other supported items”,
  3. Once HST- FM02 Is located, tap ” Connect”
  4. Choose a recognizable name and emojl for your HST- FM02 and tap ” Continue “
  5. Smart Tag Finder will ask for confirmation to add HST- FM02 to your Apple ID , and tap ” Continue”
  6. Tap ” FInish ” and your Smart Tag Finder will be set up and ready to be connected to whatever Smart Tag Finder you wish to locate, e.g. your keys .

Resetting HST- FM02:

  1. Open APP and select ” Items ” tab
  2. Tap on your Smart Tag Finder from the list
  3. Please ensure ” Lost Mode ” is disabled,
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap ” Remove Item”
  5. A summary will open, then tap ” Remove” to confirm.

Factory Reset Your Smart Tag Finder

  1. After successfully removing the Smart Tag Finder from app, press the Smart Tag Finder’s function button 4 times rapidly and then hold it a fifth time until you hear a ringing chime.
  2. The Smart Tag Finder is now reset and ready to be paired to a new iPhone or iPad

Locate Your Smart Tag Finder:
Find Smart Tag Finder when It’s Nearby:

  1. Open app and select the ” Items” tab,
  2. Tap on your Smart Tag Finder from the list
  3. Тар “Play Sound ” to make your Smart Tag Finder Beep
  4. Tap ” Stop Sound” to stop the beeps once you find it.

Find Smart Tag Finder’s last Known Location:

  1. Open app and select the “ ltems ” tab
  2. Tap on your Smart Tag Finder from the list ,
  3. Your Smart Tag Finder last known location will appear on the map4.
    To navigate to that last known location , tap “ Direction ” to open the Apple Maps app

Find Smart Tag Finder Out of Range
—Enabling ” Notify When Left Behind “:

  1. Open app and select the ” Items” tab
  2. Tap on your Smart Tag Finder from the list.
  3. Under ” Notifications “enable the ” Notify When Left Behind ” toggle
  4. You will receive a notification when you leave your Smart Tag Finder behind and it’s no longer inrange of your device

-Enablina « Notify When Found “.

  1. Under ” Notifications “enable the ” Notify When Found ” toggle
  2. When your Smart Tag Finder is seen by another Find enabled device ,you will receive anotification of its updated location
  3. Note: ” Notify When Found ” can only be activated when yourSmart Tag Finder is out of range

When Your Smart Tag Finder Is Lost
Enabling ” Lost Mode”

  1. Open app and select the ” Items ” tab
  2. Tap on your Smart Tag Finder from the list
  3. Under ” Lost Mode ” tap ” Enable”
  4. A screen detailing Lost Mode will pop up, tap ” Continue “
  5. Enter your phone number or email address and tap ” Next”
  6. You may enter a message that will be shared with the person that finds your item,
  7. Tap ” Activate ” to enable ” Lost Mode”
  8. Note: When ” Lost Mode” is enabled, ” Notify When Found” is automatically enabled .
  9. Note: When ” Lost Mode” is enabled, your Smart Tag Finder is locked and cannot be pared to a new iPhone or iPad .

  1. Slide the opening slider on the back of your Smart Tag Finder to carefully open the shells.
