ARCHITESSA DYNAMEX Rise IT Pedestal System

The Dynamex™ Rise-It Paver Pedestal System, is an integral part of your hardscaping installation. Designed to fully support the load of installed pavers and foot traffic, while reducing vibration & shock, the system is tested to withstand over 6,500 lbs of load. The main advantages of the Rise-It system are simplified and reliable installation, improved drainage and protection of critical roofing membranes and moisture barrier systems. Precision manufactured and durably made from 100% recycled materials; Due to their high-load bearing properties and ease of leveling, the Rise-It system can be used to convert unused roof space into valuable patio real estate. Apply over broken sidewalks or uneven concrete areas to convert them into well-drained, level surfaces for entertaining, storage, or improved access.

CALCULATE QUANTITY OF PEDESTALS REQUIRED FOR YOUR JOB

Decks can be designed to any layout configuration. The number of pedestals required is directly proportional to the number of tiles or pavers utilized. Therefore we recommend that you determine the number of pavers needed first. Once the number of pavers has been established, the following formula will give an estimate of approximately how many pedestals will be needed:

METHOD #1:

  • Pavers needed = Deck area/Paver area
  • Pedestals needed = # Pavers needed + (Deck perimeter I Paver width)

Example: For 24″ x 24″ Pavers on 20′ x 50′ patio:

  • Pavers needed = (20′ x 50′) I 2′ x 2′ = 250 pavers
  • Pedestals needed = 250 + ((20′ + 20′ + 50′ + 50′) I 2′) = 320 pedestals

METHOD #2:

  1. Count total number of pavers
  2. Count the number of pavers around the entire perimeter and divide by two. Add the result to the total number of pavers from step 1.
  3. Multiply your new total by 5% and round up. Add that number to get your total amount of pedestals needed.

EXAMPLE:

  1. Total number of pavers: 15
  2. Number of perimeter pavers (14) divided by two: 7
  3. Calculate 5% of your new figure (15+7=22) and round up: 24
