Inserting the SIM card and microSD card

1. Open the waterproof cover of the nano-SIM slot on the back of the camera and insert the supplied nano-SIM card.
   • Make sure the gold contact side of the nano-SIM card is facing up.

2. Drehen Sie die Kamera und öffnen Sie die wasserdichte Abdeckung des SD-Kartensteckplatzes, dann legen Sie eine microSD-Karte ein.
   • Achten Sie darauf, dass die Chip-Seite der microSD-Karte nach oben zeigt.

Close the waterproof cover tightly after inserting the card.

Charging the camera

Before using the camera for the first time, fully charge it. Charging takes 3 to 5 hours.

Setting up the camera

1. Download and install the eufy Security app, then log in or create an account.

2.  Follow the in-app instructions to add the camera to the device list.

Installing your camera

Choose a location where you can get the view you want. We recommend hanging the camera 2.5-3 m (8-10 ft) above the ground.

To ensure no detection is missed, do not install the camera facing directly at the surveillance area. Instead, keep an angle to avoid potential blind spotsChoose a location for the solar panel
Choose an optimal location for the solar panel that receives sufficient sunlight and is within 3 m (10 ft) of the camera.
Make sure the location has facilities or structures suitable for mounting the solar panel.To absorb the most solar energy, select the installation orientation recommended for your location.

Mounting the Camera

1. Drill holes with a 15/64-inch (5.95 mm) drill bit using the included positioning card, then insert the anchors into the holes
2. Secure the camera firmly onto the mounting bracket.
3. Connect the solar module to the camera using the USB-C cable.

Mounting the Camera to a Pole

You can also mount the camera to a pole using the pole mount strap.

Installing the Solar Panel

1. Secure the mounting bracket to the selected optimal location, then install the solar panel by rotating it onto the mounting bracket.
2. Remove the foil before use.
