Product Usage Instructions

Set up your Video Doorbell

  1. Download the Hello Doorbell app
    *Please make sure you have your wifi password ready for the next step.
    Search for Hello Doorbell in one of the app stores above, or scan the QR code on the back of the doorbell to download the app.

  2. Charge the doorbell
    Pull down the mounting bracket of the doorbell to find the charging port. Plug the TYPE-C power cord into the doorbell to charge before installation. It must be fully charged before installing the doorbell.

  3. Turn on the doorbel
    The doorbell is off by default at the factory. Please make sure to turn on the doorbell before setting up.

  4. Plug-in your signal station
    Plug it into the power source. Once the light is solid red, it’s ready to prepare your doorbell.

  5. Set up your Video Doorbell near your signal station
    Long press the side button on the signal station. When the light starts flashing green, connect the device via Wifi-halow.

Install your Video Doorbell

  1. Optional Preparation
    If replacing an existing doorbell, shut off power at the breaker. Then remove it from the wall and disconnect the wires.

  2. Set installation height
    Install your Video Doorbell approximately five feet (1.50 meters) above the ground for optimal performance. If you need a better view, consider purchasing a Wedge Kit online.

  3. Mark the screw holes
    Use the bracket as a template to mark the holes. The recommended install height is 5 feet above the ground. The holes are 105.5 mm apart.

  4. Attach your Video Doorbell to the mounting bracket
    Mount the doorbell securely and use the included screwdriver to drive the two security screws into the bottom of your Video Doorbell.

  5. Install the anchor (Optional)
    If installing on stucco, brick, or concrete, use a M6 masonry drill bit to drill holes in your wall, then insert the included anchors with KA3*30 screw. The holes are 86.5 mm apart.

Set up your Video Doorbell

Download the Hello Doorbell app

Chrage the doorbell
Pull down the mounting bracket of the doorbell, find the charging port.

Plug the TYPE-C power cord into the doorbell to charge before installation. It must be fully charged before installing the doorbell.

Turn on the doorbell
The doorbell is off by default at the factory. Please make sure to turn on the doorbell before setting up.

Plug-in your signal station
Plug it into the power source. Once the light is solid red, it’s ready to prepare your doorbell.

Set up your Video Doorbell near your signal station
Long press the side botton on the signal station. When the light starts flashing green, connecting the device via Wifi-halow.

Connect to wifi
Follow the in-app instructions to set up your doorbell.

Select connection method
We provide two connection methods:

  • A Bluetooth connection
    • Turn on the Bluetooth in phone system setting
    • Searching for anyfree signal station and connect
  • B Scan code connection
    • Scan the QR code on the phone with your doorbell
    • When the prompt sounds, it means the scan is successful.

Install your Video Doorbell

Set installation height
Install your Video Doorbell approximately five feet (1.50 meters) above the ground for optimal performance. If you’re connecting to existing doorbell wiring that’s higher than four feet and want to angle your Video Doorbell down for a better view, you can purchase a Wedge Kit online at anyfree.com/accessories.

Optional
If replacing an existing doorbell, shut off power at the breaker. Then remove it from the wall and disconnect the wires.

Mark the screw holes
Use the bracket as a template to mark the holes. The recommended install height is 5 feet above the ground.
The holes are 105.5 mm apart. Attach your Video Doorbell to the mounting bracket
Mount the doorbell above the hanging plate by 5-10mm, align it horizontally, stick it securely, slide it downwards, and hang it tightly.

Use the star-shaped end of the included screwdriver to drive the two security screws into the bottom of your Video Doorbell.

CAUTION!
If you use the wrong screws to secure the Video Doorbell, you could damage the battery during installation, create a fire hazard, and be seriously injured.

*If you’re installing on wood material, skip this step.

Install the anchor(Optional)
If installing on stucco, brick, or concrete, use a M6 masonry drill bit to drill holes in your wall, then insert the included anchors with KA3*30 screw.
The holes are 86.5 mm apart.

Attach the anchor to the mounting bracket
Attach the mouting bracket to the anchor using KM3*10 screws, then follow the instructions from step 02.4.

    To set up the doorbell, click on the detection environment to initialize the millimeter wave radar monitoring. Once the monitoring is done, you’ll receive a prompt and the millimeter wave radar will monitor your doorstep in real- time.

  5. Customized ringtone
    You can create and customize unique ringtones in the app.

  6. Video message
    Visitors can record video messages for you in case the doorbell call fails. Video Mail will start automatically with a voice prompt.
