JioTag Air, a Bluetooth 5.3 based lost and found tracker allows users to quickly track and find their belongings.
Install the JioThings app and attach the JioTag Air to the belonging you want to track, say, wallet, keys, handbag etc. You just got ready to start tracking your belonging.
JioTag Air also supports Apple Find My App. JioTag Air gives you the option to use either Apple Find My App or the JioThings App which is compatible with both Android and iOS.

Locate your phone

Find your thing feature helps you find your belongings by ringing the attached JioTag Air so that you can quickly and easily locate your misplaced belonging.
Cannot find your car keys while hurrying out to work? Ring your JioTag Air with a single click on the JioThings app or use Play Sound feature in Apple Find My. Your Tag will start to play a tune with its in-built buzzer, and you can easily follow the sound to quickly locate your car keys. Save precious time by using JioTag Air rather than randomly looking for things around.
Locate your phone feature helps you find your misplaced phone by double tapping your JioTag Air to make your phone ring.
In a hurry and can’t seem to find your phone? Is it in silent mode so calling won’t help? Ring your phone by double tapping your JioTag. Your phone will show a notification and start to play a tune, even if it is in silent mode.

Disconnection Alerts

Disconnection Alerts feature prevents your belongings from getting lost by alerting you, that you might have left something behind.
Leaving your phone behind while going out? Leaving your wallet behind by mistake at a restaurant or while out shopping? If you leave anything behind, your phone will give you a notification and your JioTag Air will beep when they get separated beyond the Bluetooth range so that you can go back and look for your belongings.

Disconnection location provides you with the exact location of where your phone was last connected with your JioTag Air.
Left your wallet behind somewhere but can’t remember? View the exact last seen location, date and time of your JioTag Air on a map. You can go back to the last seen location of your JioTag Air and search your JioTag Air.

Jio Community Find and Apple Community Find
Jio Community find feature leverages the extensive JioThings community to help locate lost items.
The Apple Find Community feature leverages the extensive Apple ecosystem to assist in locating lost items.
If your belonging is truly lost, just mark the JioTag Air as lost and all the JioThings users will help to find your Tag anonymously and report back the location of your lost belonging.
Note: If you choose to add your item to the JioThings app, you won’t be part of Apple’s Find My Network, and your item’s location will rely on the Bluetooth range of your phone or JioThings Network of users.

Login Process

To log in to the JioThings app, follow these steps:

1. Launch the JioThings app in your phone.

2. Enter the phone number with which you have already created a JioThings account.

3. Enter the OTP received as an SMS on phone and click on Continue.

4. When you first login, you will be taken through a few guiding screens, highlighting the app functionality.

5. After login is successful, you will be taken to the homepage.

Adding a JioTag Air to JioThings App
To add a JioTag Air in JioThings app, follow these steps: 1) Click on + Add New on the app homepage. 2) Click on MyTags tab on top and then click
on the “+” sign on the top right corner.

3. Follow the instructions on screen to easily add JioTag Air: a) Long press the JioTag Air to turn it ON. b) Hold JioTag Air close to phone. c) Click on Search button.

4. Your JioTag Air will appear in the Available JioTags list. Now click on the “+” sign. Once connected your JioTag Air will glow monetarily and also ring for 5 seconds.

5. JioThings will now connect with your JioTag Air and add it to your account.

6. You will be then guided to the Add JioTag page where you can set all the details like name, set picture and asset type. Once you have added all the details, click on Add.

2. Navigate to Items tab. Hold the JioTag Air close to your iPhone, and click on the + button.

3. Click on Add Other Item.

To edit the details of an existing JioTag Air, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the MyTags tab from the homepage by clicking on MyTags on the top of the screen. Here you will see a list view of all your added JioTags.

2) Click on the 3 dots on the top right side of the particular JioTag Air whose details you wish to edit. Then click on Edit.

You can also navigate to the detailed view of the particular JioTag Air you wish to edit, by clicking on the card of that JioTag Air on MyTags tab. Then click on the 3 dots menu on top right of the screen and click on Edit.

3. Now you can change the name of your JioTag Air, change the picture as well as asset type. Once you are done editing, click on update. Update button will be greyed out if no changes have been made.

4. On successfully editing the JioTag Air, you will be guided back to the MyTags tab where you can see the changes you’ve made.

Editing the JioTag Air details in Apple Find My
To edit the details of an existing JioTag Air, follow these steps:

1. Open Find My App on your iOS phone and click on your Jio Tag Air.

2. Scroll down and click on Rename Item.

3. Change the Name and Emoji and click on Done.

Deleting the JioTag Air in JioThings
To permanently delete any already added JioTag Air, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the MyTags tab from the homepage by clicking on MyTags on the top of the screen. Here you will see a list view of all your added JioTags.

2) Click on the card of the particular JioTag Air you wish to delete. This will open the detailed page of that Tag.

3. Click on the 3 dots on top right corner from the detailed page and then click on Delete.

4. A pop-up will be shown asking you to confirm if you wish to permanently delete the JioTag Air. Click on Yes.

5. You will receive a confirmation message on screen, and your JioTag Air plays a sound and switches off.

6. Once you click on the “X” symbol on the top of the screen you will be taken to the MyTags tab where your deleted JioTag Air will no longer be listed.

To permanently delete any already added JioTag Air, follow these steps:

1. Open Find My App on your iOS phone and click on your JioTag AIr

2. Scroll down and click on Remove Item.

3. Click on Remove.

4. Click on Remove again to delete the JioTag Air from your account.

1. On the MyTags tab, click on the card of the particular JioTag Air whose settings you want to change. This will open the detailed page of that Tag.

Locate your phone feature will make your phone ring so that you can easily locate it, even if it is on silent. 1) To use this feature double tap on the button

Using Disconnection Alerts feature
Disconnection Alerts feature will make your phone as well as JioTag Air ring, in case they have been separated and get disconnected from each other beyond the Bluetooth range. 1) This feature is useful if you forget either one of the
JioTag Air or phone behind and leave your current location.
2) When the JioTag Air gets separated from your phone, then you will receive a regular notification in the notification tray of your phone. Your JioTag Air will also play out a disconnection tune at the same time. To view these notifications when phone is locked, make sure your screen lock notifications are turned ON from main phone settings.

your phone so that, in case you have misplaced it, you can go back and search for it at its last known

location.

Using Jio Community Find feature
Jio Community Find feature helps you locate your truly lost belonging. If you cannot find your JioTagged belonging at the last known disconnection location as shown in the app, you can mark your JioTag Air as lost. This will activate the entire JioThings community to anonymously help you locate your lost JioTag Air. Using 1-Click Selfie feature
1-Click Selfie feature helps you to click selfie remotely and instantly on your phone by single clicking your JioTag Air. If you need to click a photo and no one is around for assistance, you can use JioTag Air for assistance while it is connected to your phone. Open the JioThings application, adjust your phone to get a selfie and single click the power button on your JioTag Air when you are ready. The app will request for Camera permissions, if not already given, and open the front camera of your phone. Now single click your JioTag Air to click selfies as many times you want!
Using MyTags Silent Mode feature
MyTags Silent Mode allows you to stop all disconnection alerts on your JioTag Air and phone for a specific period of time. · Quick Silent: Activates silent mode immediately for a set duration of time (30 min to 6 hours). · Silent Region: Activates silent mode for specific region/location. · Silent Period: Allows you to set a silent period on a recurring basis during which you don’t want
to be disturbed, for e.g. 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM on Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu and Fri.
