To scan barcodes in manual mode, use the scan button to scan  the “Factory Default” code.

Setting Prefix and Suffix

In order to set a prefix or suffix, first scan the code “Add prefix” or  “Add suffix”, then scan the corresponding character from the table at the end of this manual and finally read the code “Save  settings”.

Hiding barcode characters

In order to hide individual characters in the barcode, first scan  the code “Hide initial characters” or “Hide end characters” and  then use the scanner to read the code at the end of this manual,  corresponding to the number of digits to be hidden.

For example, if you want to hide the first two characters of a  barcode, first scan the “Hide initial characters” code, then scan  the “0” and “2” codes from the table.
