To set a prefix or suffix, first scan the code “Add a prefix” or “Add a suffix”, then scan the appropriate character from the table at the end of this manual, and finally read the code “Save settings”.
Hide barcode characters
Hiding Initial Characters

Hide trailing characters
In order to hide individual characters in the barcode, first scan the code
“Hide Leading Characters” or “Hide Trailing Characters” and then read the code
at the end of this manual, corresponding to the number of digits to hide, with
the scanner.
For example, if you want to hide the first two characters of a barcode,
you must first scan the code “Hide Initial Characters”, then scan the code “0”
and “2” from the table.
