About the device

PowerTag Control

PowerTag Control (PTC) is a wireless-communication module explicitly designed for controlling and monitoring applications. It is part of PowerTag System and Wiser System, turning a distribution board into a connected panel.
PowerTag Control monitors circuits wirelessly, collecting status of daisy- chained circuit breakers and notifying the Wiser Hub of information status, such as OFF, Contactor (CT) or Impulse Relay (TL) position indication. The PTC has a volt free relay contact providing control of 230 VAC loads up to 2 A.
· Zigbee technology simplifies cabling and commissioning operations: no wiring is required for the PowerTag Control modules to communicate with the Wiser Hub.
· System scalability: PowerTag Control modules can be easily installed in new or existing panels at any time with a simple commissioning operation.
· PowerTag Control modules are DIN rail mounted.

PowerTag Control
Installing the device
Refer to the installation instruction supplied with this product. It is recommended to install the PowerTag within 3 metres of the Wiser Hub for best results. Signal quality is best maintained when there are no big obstructions (thick walls, metal cabinets etc.) between the PowerTag & your Wiser Hub. This provides a good network strength and helps to prevent online/offline issues, which might result in corrupting data. Refer installation video: How to Install PowerTag Control – IO Module This video is applicable for installation of PowerTag driving an Impulse relay using “remote indication auxiliary and 2 feedback loop wires”. Wherein for the PowerTag driving a contactor does not “require remote indication auxiliary and 2 feedback loop wires”.
Pairing the device
Pair your PowerTag Control with the Wiser Hub to access and control it using the Wiser Home app.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the PowerTag Control has been installed by a qualified professional.
1. On the Home page, tap .
2. Tap Devices > > Energy. 3. Select PowerTag Control and then tap Next (A) on setup page.
