Make sure you have the following items in the package with your headset:

Connection
Connecting AH80 to your PC, deskphone or smartphone/tablet.
- **USB Dongle
** Plug the USB dongle into your PC or deskphone and slide the switch to the middle position to power on AH80. AH80 will connect with the dongle automatically.
- Bluetooth
Slide the switch to the end position and hold for 2~3s to power on AH80 and enter pairing mode. Then, power on Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device and select AH80 for pairing.
- 3.5mm Aux Cable
When AH80 runs out of power, you can also connect via a 3.5mm aux cable to
listen to music or for communication.
Note: If you connect a 3.5mm aux cable into AH80 in powered-on state, AH80
will enter into powered-off state when you can use it as a wired headset. To
use Bluetooth, you will need to unplug the 3.5mm cable, slide the switch to
the OFF position and then turn it back on.
Wearing the headset
Adjust the headband to make a comfortable fit for your head.
The microphone boom is retractable. You can pull it out closer to your mouth to achieve optimal sound and hide it when listening to music or watching movies.
Charging
Plug the Type-C connector at one end of the USB cable into AH80 and the Type-A connector into the charger or PC. It takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge the headset. It is recommended to use a DC 5V 1A charger.
Wireless charging
Put the left earphone onto the wireless charging base. It takes approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge the headset. It is recommended to use a Qi-certified wireless charger.
Note: When fully charged, the headset provides around 35 hours of talk time and up to 45 hours of playback time.
Using the headset
Call handling
Answering / Rejecting a call
When there is an incoming call, you can control it via the multi-function
button (MFB) on the right earphone.
- Answer a call: Press the MFB
- Reject a call: Press twice the MFB
Ending / Holding a call
While on a call, you can
- end a call: Press the MFB
- hold/Resume a call: Hold the MFB for 1 second
Mute on / off
During on a call, you can
mute / unmute your microphone: Press the Mute button
Status light change / off
While on a call, you can switch the status light between red, blue and off.
When needed, you can use red light to indicate busy state and blue light to
indicate available state. The headset saves and remembers last output state of
the status light after power off.
Change/Turn off the status light: Hold the Mute button for 2 seconds (Red/Blue/Off)
Handling multiple calls
While there are multiple incoming calls, you can
- end the current call to accept the incoming one/end the incoming call and resume the call on hold: Press the MFB
- reject the incoming call: Press twice the MFB
- put the current call on hold and answer the incoming one/put the incoming one on hold and resume the original call: Hold the MFB for 1 second
Activating voice assistant
In idle state, you can
activate your voice assistant (e.g. Siri, Google Assistant or Alexa): Hold the
MFB for 1 second
Music mode
- Play/Pause music: Press the MFB
- Volume up: Tap the Volume + area
- Volume down: Tap the Volume – area
- Previous track: Press and hold the Volume – area for 1 second
- Next track: Press and hold the Volume + area for 1 second
Settings
ANC / Transparency mode
You can control the ANC mode and switch to transparency mode via the ANC
button. In transparency mode, you can hear the world around you without taking
off your headset.
ANC mode on / transparency mode on / ANC mode off: Press the ANC button
Customizing prompt languages
The headset supports multiple voice prompt languages, including Chinese,
English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. To switch between
languages, press the MFB and ANC button simultaneously for over 2 seconds.
Restoring factory settings
Factory reset the headset: Press both the Mute button and the ANC button simultaneously for more than 6 seconds
Checking the battery level
When the headset is powered on and no Bluetooth device is connected, you can
check the battery level by listening to the voice prompt.
Listen to remaining battery percentage voice prompt: Press the MFB
Indicator lights
Support
The ALE Go app helps you boost your headset performance through regular firmware updates.
Maintenance
- Please store your headset in the carry case that it came in when not in use.
- To prevent battery depletion, please avoid storing your headset in a too hot or too cold environment (e.g. in the car in summer or winter).
- Keep the headset from getting wet. If the headset gets wet, leave it long enough to dry fully before powering it on.
- It is recommended to keep the headset at a temperature between -10°C and 45°C (23°F and 113°F).
- Do not store the headset for long periods of time without charging. It is advisable to charge the battery at least once every six months to maintain its performance.

Do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
