PRELIMINARY INFORMATIONS FOR INSTALLATION, USE, WARRANTY AND MAINTENANCE.
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- During and after installation, be sure that the exhaust system is not touching any components sensible to high temperatures.
- Manufacturer is not liable for damages (including personal damage and injuries) of any kind resulting from improper use and installation of the exhaust system.
- After installation it is recommended to check all screws to be properly tightened and to check alignment of the exhaust system.
- When tightening original screws please follow the indications given in vehicle’s maintenance manual, for hardware given in the fitting kit please follow the values listed.
- Warranty is limited to defects recognized by manufacturer’s technical service and related to normal use of the exhaust system. Warranty terms exclude components subject to normal wear, like gaskets and wadding materials.
- Warranty is void in case of accident, modifications, improper use and competition use.
- It is strongly recommended not to install and use the exhaust system on a vehicle for which the exhaust system has not been designed for.
- In normal use condition the exhaust system can get very hot, even when the engine is switched off. be careful to avoid contact with exhaust system surfaces.
- Wadding materials durability changes depending on the kind of use of the exhaust system. Generally and as a pure information, it is recommended to check internal wadding material every 8000/9000km and at least once a year or in case you notice a change in noise from the exhaust or a change in colour of silencer’s external body surface.
- Technical characteristics and specifications of Arrow exhaust systems and related components can be subject to modifications and changes without notice.

Arrow Special Parts does not guarantee that its products are universally compliant with laws on polluting and noise emissions and relating to product identification. Buyers are responsible for complying with the laws and informing themselves about those in force in the place where they intend to use the products.
NOTICE FOR THE UNITED STATES
Some states in the United States and the US federal government have specific laws governing the use of the aftermarket exhaust system, especially when its assembly modifies, removes or replaces the stock catalyst. We recommend that you consult the laws regarding pollutant and noise emissions in force in the area before installing an aftermarket exhaust system to ensure compliance with the laws in force. Arrow Special Parts does not warrant that its products are universally compliant with these laws.
CALIFORNIA NOTICE
California law prohibits the use of any aftermarket component or exhaust system that modifies, removes or replaces the original catalyst. Use is permitted only if the CARB (California Air Resources Board) has issued an executive order for such components or exhaust systems or if they are installed on a racing vehicle used in closed circuits. Arrow Special Parts does not warrant that its exhaust systems are part of this executive order or that they comply with the racing vehicle exemption. Buyers are responsible for complying with the laws and informing themselves about those in force in the place where they intend to use the products.
- Unplug the oxygen sensor and remove its harness from the mounts.
- Remove the shift lever.
- Remove the nuts securing collectors to the engine.
- Remove the screw shown above and remove original exhaust system.
- Remove the spacers and the grommets from mounts shown above.
- Fit one of the spacers given in the fitting kit as shown above.
- Fit the spaces in between the two mounts as shown above and secure it on the LH side using the spacer, M8x25mm screw and its washer (all given in the fitting kit).
- Secure silencer mounting bracket on the RH hand side as shown above, using M8x35mm screw and its washer (given in the fitting kit).
- Fit oxygen sensor harness on its mount.
- Fit shift lever.
- Check that the original gaskets are properly placed in their seat.
- Fit RH collector and secure the flange to the engine (do NOT tighten in this phase).
- Secure LH collector and secure the flange to the engine (do NOT tighten in this phase).
- Fit 2:1 manifold and secure the springs.
- Plug the M18/M12 adaptor and plug the oxygen sensor and secure oxygen sensor harness as shown above, using the plastic strap given in the fitting kit.
- Fit the silencer, secure the mount on the inner side of the mounting bracket and secure the spring.
- Tighten collectors to the cylinders.
