Product Usage Instructions

Applications
These speakers are designed for PA systems. Models IT-… are suitable for PA systems using 100V technology, while models NR-33KS and UHC-30 are for audio systems with 8Ω speakers. The weatherproof housing (IP66) allows for outdoor use.

Safety Instructions
Ensure the speakers are used only for their intended purpose. Improper installation, overloading, or repairs not done by experts may result in personal or material damage. Dispose of speakers following local regulations when no longer in use.

Mounting
Use the mounting bracket to securely attach the speaker at a suitable location. Adjust the speaker position by releasing and tightening the lateral screws.

Electrical Connection

  1. Switch off the amplifier before connecting the speaker.
  2. For IT-… models, use a screwdriver to set the power rating using the rotary switch on the rear side. Ensure the total power of connected speakers does not exceed amplifier power in a 100V system.
  3. Connect the speaker to the amplifier’s speaker output, ensuring consistent polarity for all speakers in a zone.

These instructions are intended for installers with specific knowledge of PA technology. Please read the instructions carefully prior to installation and keep them for later reference

Applications

These speakers are designed for PA systems. Models IT-… are specially suited for PA systems that work with 100 V technology and models NR-33KS and UHC-30 for audio systems that are operated with 8 Ω speakers. Due to their weatherproof housings (IP 66), the speakers are also suitable for outdoor applications.

The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives of the EU and is therefore marked with . The speaker corresponds to the relevant UK legislation and is therefore marked with UKCA.

  • Protect the speaker against extreme temperatures (admissible ambient temperature range: –20 °C to +50 °C).
  • For cleaning only use a soft cloth, dry or slightly damp; never use chemicals or aggressive detergents.
  • No guarantee claims for the speaker and no liability for any resulting personal damage or material damage will be accepted if the speaker is used for other purposes than originally intended, if it is not safely installed if it is overloaded or if it is not repaired in an expert way

If the speaker is to be put out of operation definitively, dispose of the speaker by local regulations

Mounting

Use the mounting bracket to fasten the speaker in an expert manner at a suitable place. To adjust the speaker, release the two lateral screws, position the speaker as desired, then retighten the screws.

Electrical Connection

WARNING For models IT-…, there is a hazard of contact with a voltage of up to 100 V at the connection cable during operation. Installation must be made by skilled personnel only!

  1. Prior to connecting the speaker, switch off the amplifier to which the speaker is to be connected!
  2. For models IT-…, use a screwdriver to adjust the desired power rating with the rotary switch on the rear side. Please make sure to note: In a 100 V system, the total power of all speakers connected must not exceed the amplifier power. Overload may damage the amplifier!
  3. Connect the speaker to the speaker output of the amplifier. Make sure that all speakers of a speaker zone have the same polarity.
