Commissioning
The product has a socket with 1x earthing contact socket (5) and 1x earthing
contact plug (6) as well as a 180° rotatable LCD (1).
To put the product into operation, proceed as follows.
- Plug the earthing contact plug (6) into an easily accessible socket outlet with the earthing contact that has been installed by the regulations.
- Insert the mains plug (protective contact type F CEE 7/4 or Euro plug type C CEE 7/17) of an electrical appliance or inverter of a balcony power plant into the earthing contact socket (5) of the product.
- The connected appliance is then supplied with power via the product‘s looped socket. The measured data can now be read on the LCD (1).
As soon as the product is supplied with power, the measured current voltage is always displayed first.
Display
The LCD (1) has two lines.
The first line shows which data is being measured.
-
V: Current-voltage in volts
-
W: Power consumption/output in watts
-
Total kWh: Energy consumption/feeding in kilowatt hours during the period of use
-
Total €: Cost of energy consumption in euros
-
€ kWh: Cost per kilowatt hour (this value is adjustable)
The second line shows the measured or calculated value: -
V: Display from 0,0 – 999,9 possible
-
W, kWh: Display from 0,0 – 9999 possible
-
€: Display from 0,00 – 9999 possible
-
€ kWh: Display from 00,00 – 99,99 possible
The LCD display can be rotated 180° for better readability.
Select display mode
The product has the 5 different display modes mentioned above. To switch
between the two measuring ranges V (current-voltage) and W (power
consumption), press the MODE button (2) once.
To switch between the three display areas Total kWh, Total € and € kWh, press
the UP button (3) once.
Set cost per kilowatt hour
To set the electricity costs per kilowatt hour consumed, proceed as follows:
- First, start up the product as described above.
- Then set the display mode € kWh as described above.
- Now press and hold the MODE button (2) for approx. 3 seconds until the first number of the second line in the LCD (1) starts flashing. You can now start entering the costs per kilowatt hour.
- Press the UP button (3) once or several times to set the desired number in the first position. Confirm your selection by pressing the MODE button (2) once. Then the second digit starts flashing and you can now set the second number.
- Repeat step 4 a total of three times to set the price in euros per kilowatt hour.
- When you have finished, press the MODE button (2) once more. The last number of the second line in the LCD (1) stops flashing and the entry is complete. You can now select between the display modes as usual.
If you want to skip a digit when entering the costs, press the MODE key (2)
directly. The respective digit then remains unchanged or it remains empty if
it is 0 and is in the first position before the decimal point.
The entry is automatically canceled if no key is pressed for 10 seconds.
The entry is not saved in this case.
The cost per kilowatt hour can only be set when the product is plugged into a
socket and supplied with power. The product does not have a built-in battery.
Resetting the product
If the LCD display (1) shows a display error or the buttons no longer
re–spond, you can reset the product. To do this, press the RESET button (4) on
