the instructions for use carefully. Store this guide safely throughout the
product’s entire service life and pass it on to any subsequent users or
owners. Check that the supplied package is complete and ensure that none of
the parts are defective or damaged.
INTENDED USE
The product is intended for private use only and is not suitable for commercial use. Only use the product as described in this user manual. Any other use is considered improper and may result in property damage.
WARNING!
Hazards for children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities (for example, partially disabled persons, elderly persons with
reduced physical and mental abilities) or lack of experience and knowledge
(for example, older children). This product can be used by children aged eight

GENERAL SAFETY AND WARNING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNUNG!
Risk of electric shock!
Faulty electrical installation or excessive mains voltage can lead to electric
shock.
- Do not operate the product if it shows visible damage or if the power cord is defective.
- Always check the product for damage before use. Damaged electrical equipment as well as kinked power cords or bare wires increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not open the housing but entrust the repair to specialists. Contact a specialist workshop for this purpose. Liability and warranty claims are excluded in the event of repairs carried out independently, improper connection or incorrect operation.
- Do not disassemble the product into its parts. Improper han-dling can lead to electric shock and malfunction.
- The main plug of the device must fit into the socket. The power plug is not allowed to be modified in any way. Do not use adapter plugs together with protective grounded electrical equipment. Unmodified power plugs and matching outlets reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Only parts that correspond to the original device data may be used for repairs. This product contains electrical and mechanical parts which are essential for protection against sources of danger.
- Never immerse the product in water.
- Keep the product away from open flames and hot surfaces.
- Never operate the product in wet areas or the rain.
- Do not expose the product to rain or extreme weather conditions e.g., sub-zero temperatures, hail, extreme heat.
- Never place the product in such a way that it can fall into the water.
- Make sure that no liquid gets into the product and, if necessary, dry the product thoroughly before using it again.
- Ensure that children do not insert any objects into the product.
- Keep the product at least 20 cm away from pacemakers and other medical devices. Radio waves can affect the function of pacemakers and other medical devices.
- When you are not using the product, cleaning it or if a malfunction occurs, always switch off the product and disconnect the power plug.
- If there are large fluctuations in temperature or humidity, condensation may cause moisture to form inside the product, which may cause an electrical short circuit. After transporting the product, wait until it has reached ambient temperature before putting it into operation.
- The prerequisite for the oper functioning of the product is a functioning protective conductor connection of the wall socket (protective contact socket) at which the product is operated.
- Despite the high energy dissipation capacity, there is no absolute safety of the connected devices in case of a direct lightning strike.

Do not operate the device in an explosive environment containing flam-mable
liquids or gases. Never exceed the specified maximum input voltage.
- Avoid strong vibrations.
- Do not expose the product to rain or extreme weather conditions, e.g. minus temperatures, hail, or extreme heat.
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperature fluctuations. Do not put it into use until it has adjusted to the ambient temperature.
- Only use a wall socket that is easily accessible. This way, the mains plug can be pulled out quickly in emergencies.
- Never operate the power strip covered.
- Do not connect devices with a total power greater than 3,680 W or a total current consumption greater than 16 A to the product.

- Do not drop the product or expose it to strong vibrations.
- Keep at least 1 m away from high-frequency and magnetic interference sources (TV set, other speaker boxes, etc.) to avoid malfunctions.
- Never place the product on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove tops).
- Do not bring the product into contact with hot parts.
- Operate the product only from grounded outlets rated 100 – 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz. If you are unsure of the power supply at the installation site, check with the relevant power supplier.
- Do not operate the device at too high mains voltage, with a universal socket or any other connecting device. Operate only at the input voltage specified on the type plate.
- Unplug the product during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
- Never expose the product to high temperatures (heating, etc.) or weather (rain, etc.).
- Never pour liquid into the product.
- Never immerse the product in water for cleaning and do not use a steam cleaner for cleaning. The product may otherwise be damaged.
- Do not use the product if the plastic components of the product are cracked or deformed. Replace damaged components only with suitable original spare parts.

Risk of damage!
If you open the packaging carelessly with a sharp knife or other pointed
objects, the product can be damaged quickly.
- Be very careful when opening it.
- Remove the product from the packaging.
- Check if the delivery is complete.
- Check whether the product or the individual parts show any damage.
If this is the case, do not use the product. Contact the hotline or e-mail address specified in this instruction manual.
Connection and commissioning
- Only operate the product from an approved socket.
- Disconnect the product from the mains if you are not going to use it for a long time.
- Do not operate any heat-generating devices (e.g. electric blankets, coffee machines, etc.) with this product. There is a risk of fire and injury!
- Connect the WiFi socket to a properly installed and easily accessible mains socket.
- Press and hold the button on the socket for approx. 5 seconds until the LED starts to flash quickly.
Connect
- Download the APP Smart Life from the Apple App Store or on Google Play.
- Open the respective APP.
- As a first-time user, you must register and create a new account. If you already have an account, log in with your access data.

NOTE!
- Make sure that your device (smartphone or tablet) is on the same home network (Wi-Fi) during setup.
- The WiFi socket only works on the 2.4 GHz network! Check that you are on a 2.4 GHz network.
- Installing multiple Wi-Fi sockets
Do not try to use several WiFi sockets at the same time! Each WLAN socket must be put into operation separately! Do not connect more than one socket per search.
Pairing the devices in the Smart Life app
- Press and hold the pairing button for approx. 5 seconds. The LED will start flashing green quickly. If it flashes slowly, press and hold the button again for about 5 seconds.
- Open the app and log in.
- Press „+“ in the top right corner to add a new device.
- In the list, select power strip, and sockets as required.
- Next, enter your WiFi password and confirm with „NEXT“.
- Now confirm that the LED of the socket/plug strip is flashing quickly by ticking „Next step“ and clicking on „Next“.
- Your socket outlet/power strip will now be connected.
- If the connection is successful, the LED stops flashing quickly and the app confirms that your sensor has been connected. Now you can give it your name.
- Now you can configure the device or set personal scenarios.

MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
IMPORTANT!
Risk of electric shock!
- Always unplug the power cord before cleaning the product.
- Also, disconnect all power plugs of the connected electrical devices from the product.
Short circuit hazard!
Water or other liquids entering the housing can cause a short circuit.
- Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
- Make sure that no water or other liquids get into the housing.
Risk of damage!
- Improper handling of the product may result in damage to the product.
- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning objects such as knives, hard spatulas, and the like. These can damage the surfaces.
- Disconnect the power plug before cleaning the product.
- Before cleaning, switch off the product.
- Clean the product with a soft, dry cloth.
- If the product is stubbornly dirty, use a slightly damp cloth and a little mild detergent if necessary.
- Allow all parts to dry completely afterwards.

Storage
- All parts must be completely dry before storage
- Always store the product in a dry place.
- Store the product out of reach of children, securely closed and at a storage temperature between 5 °C and 20 °C (room temperature).
