Product Usage Instructions
Quick Set Up:
- The 4 Snap Cables should already be snapped onto each of the 2 snaps on the outside of the BioWrap.
- Connect the blue connectors at the other end of each BioWrap cable to your BioWave Leadwire Cable.
- Clean your skin with soap and water where the silver fabric electrodes will touch.
- Apply a pea-sized amount of conductive Theracream to your skin over the areas that will touch the silver fabric electrodes.
- Put on the BioWrap and velcro it closed firmly for comfortable compression over the silver fabric locations.
- Plug the lead wire cable into the BioWave device and turn it on.
- Adjust intensity using the PLUS (+) button for a strong but comfortable sensation during treatment.
- After 30 minutes, disconnect the cables, remove the BioWrap, and store it in a cool dry place.
Directions for Use:
- Apply a pea-sized amount of BioWrap Conductive Cream to your skin where the silver fabric will touch.
- Attach the 4 Snap Cables to the snaps on the back side of the BioWrap and connect your BioWave Leadwire cable.
- Step onto the foot icon on the bottom of the BioWrap and align your heel into the hole.
- Secure the top elastic strap through the top D-Ring around the ankle for compression just above the ankle.
- Wrap strap around front and back of ankle for comfortable compression.
- Secure the Velcro strap in place.
- Place the bottom elastic strap through the bottom D-Ring around the foot for compression.
- Wrap the strap across the top of the foot for comfortable compression.

Quick Set Up and Use

- The 4” Snap Cables should already be snapped onto each of the 2 snaps on the outside of the BioWrap.
- Plug the blue connectors at the other end of each BioWrap cable into your BioWave Leadwire Cable.
- Clean your skin with soap and water using a washcloth in the locations where the silver fabric will touch your skin.
- Squeeze a separate pea-sized amount of conductive Theracream onto your fingertip and rub into your skin thoroughly over the entire area so that the silver fabric electrodes will touch your skin. Use a pea-sized amount of cream for each silver fabric electrode.
- See the diagrams on the opposite side to put on the BioWrap and velcro it closed firmly so there is strong but comfortable compression over the silver fabric locations.
- Plug the lead wire cable into the BioWave device.
- Press the power button to turn on the BioWave device.
- Start the treatment by pressing the PLUS (+) button to increase intensity so the sensation felt is strong but still comfortable. As your body adapts to the electrical field and the sensation fades, keep pressing the PLUS (+) button to increase the intensity to maintain a strong but comfortable sensation at the treatment location.
- When the 30-minute treatment is over, disconnect the BioWave Leadwire cable from the 4” Snap Cables, remove the BioWrap from your body, and store it in a cool dry place.
Directions for Use
These instructions are for attaching the Foot-Ankle BioWrap to the RIGHT or LEFT foot and ankle.
- Squeeze a pea-sized amount of BioWrap Conductive Cream onto your fingertip and rub it into your skin thoroughly in the two locations that the silver fabric will touch.
- Both 4” Snap Cables should already be snapped onto the 2 snaps on the back side of the BioWrap. Attach your BioWave Leadwire cable to the two connectors on the back of the BioWrap. Step onto the foot icon on the bottom of BioWrap and line up the back of your heel into the hole.
- Place the top elastic strap through the top D-Ring around the ankle and pull tight to create strong but comfortable compression just above the ankle.
- Wrap the strap around the front of the ankle and pull tight around the back to create strong but comfortable compression just above the ankle. Secure the Velcro strap to close.
- Place the bottom elastic strap through the bottom D-Ring around the foot and pull tight to create strong but comfortable compression around the foot.
- Wrap the strap back across the top of the foot and pull tight to create strong but comfortable compression around the entire foot. Secure the Velcro strap to close.
- Make sure there are no gaps in the BioWrap anywhere around the entire foot and the entire ankle.
TROUBLESHOOTING
My BioWave shows a connection error but my BioWrap is plugged in
If your BioWave device shows a connection error when you are fully
connected to the BioWrap, remove the BioWrap and follow these steps:
If you forgot to apply Conductive Cream:
- CLEAN YOUR SKIN. Remove BioWrap and clean your skin with soap and water in the region where the silver fabric electrodes touch your skin. Shave any excessive hair in the locations where the silver fabric electrodes touch your skin.
- APPLY A PEA-SIZE AMOUNT OF CONDUCTIVE CREAM directly to skin areas that will be against each of the silver fabric electrodes inside the BioWrap. Gently massage Conductive Cream into the skin allowing it to absorb, before putting on the BioWrap.
If you applied too much Conductive Cream (more than a pea-sized amount):
- CLEAN YOUR SKIN. Remove the BioWrap and use a dry towel to remove all excess Conductive Cream from your skin and any excess cream from the silver fabric in the BioWrap. Next, reattach the BioWrap and begin the treatment.
The treatment feels stronger under one electrode versus the other
- If the treatment feels stronger under the electrode (for example) around your ankle as compared to around the foot, it may be because the elastic strap around the ankle is too tight and/or the elastic strap around the foot is too loose. Adjust the compression of each strap to increase or decrease the relative sensation during the treatment.
- Tighter Compression and/or More Conductive Cream = Stronger Treatment Sensation.
- Looser Compression and/or Less Conductive Cream = Less Treatment Sensation.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Contraindications When Not to Use BioWraps
- DO NOT use it if you have an implanted cardiac pacemaker.
- DO NOT place the silver fabric electrodes in the BioWrap over open wounds, broken skin, rashy skin, or sensitive skin areas like sunburned skin.
NOTE:
- BioWrap Wearables MAY BE PLACED over or in the proximity of implanted orthopedic hardware, including total joint replacements, anchors, plates, rods, screws, pins, and clips.
- Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the device should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State in which the user and/or patient is established.
Cleaning
- DISCONNECT and REMOVE the two 4” SNAP CABLES before hand washing the BioWrap.
- HAND WASH using mild soap and RINSE in cold water.
- PAT DRY with a TOWEL, then let AIR DRY.
- DO NOT wash in a washing machine.
- DO NOT place it in a dryer.
