Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Activate your Ooma phone service
Unbox the Ooma Telo A and activate your service by visiting
ooma.com/activate. Refer to the included
quick start guide for detailed instructions.
Step 2: Connect the SMPL phone to the Ooma Telo
Unbox the SMPL phone B and connect Ooma Telo to the phone following one of the
two ways:
Option A: Phone is near modem/router
- Wait until the LED on the center of your Telo is solid blue (may take up to 30 minutes).
- Connect the SMPL phone to Telo via the telephone cord.
Option B: Phone is not near modem/router
- Plug Linx into the power source.
- Pair Linx with Telo by pressing the Page button on the Telo for 3 seconds.
- Connect SMPL phone with Linx via the telephone cord.
Step 3: Start making calls!
Ooma service comes with many additional functions, such as a block list, 911
alerts, voicemail forwarding, enhanced Caller-ID, and more. Access call
history, voicemails, and advanced settings at my.ooma.com on your computer.
Download the Ooma Home Phone app on your iOS or Android device to make calls
and check voicemails on the go.

Connect the SMPL phone to the Ooma Telo
Unbox the SMPL phone B and connect Ooma Telo to the phone in one of the two ways:
Option A: Phone is near modem/router
If your Internet modem/router is in the same room, where you plan on placing the phone
Option B: Phone is not near modem/router
If your Internet modem/router is in a different room from where you plan on placing the phone, you will need to use Linx -
