La acumulación de grasa en la campana puede ocasionar un riesgo de incendio. Realice la limpieza del aparato siguiendo las instrucciones de este manual.
Extreme la precaución durante la limpieza del aparato.
Riesgo de quemaduras y/o cortes. Recomendamos el uso de guantes.
No deje nunca llamas abiertas bajo la campana extractora.
Si la campana extractora está dañada, no intente utilizarla.
Cuando la campana extractora y otros aparatos alimentados con energía distinta a la eléctrica estén en funcionamiento simultáneamente, la presión negativa en el ambiente no debe exceder los 4 Pa (4 x 10-5 bar).
¡Importante! Desconecte siempre el suministro eléctrico durante la instalación y el mantenimiento.
La campana extractora debe instalarse siguiendo las instrucciones de montaje y respetando todas las medidas.

There must be adequate ventilation of the room when the kitchen hood is used at the same time as gas or other fuel burning appliances.
There is a risk of fire if cleaning is not carried out according to the instructions.
Do not flambé under the kitchen hood.
CAUTION: accessible parts can become hot when used with cooking appliances.
Air must not be discharged into a duct that is used to exhaust fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels.
The minimum distance between the support surface of the cooking containers on the worktop and the lowest part of the kitchen hood, when it is located above a gas appliance, must be at least 65 cm. If the installation instructions for the gas appliance specify a greater distance, this must be taken into account. The distance of 65 cm can be reduced for: I. Non-combustible parts of kitchen hoods. II. Parts operating at safety extra-low voltage (provided that these parts do not give access to live parts if they are deformed). The air discharge regulations must be complied with. The kitchen hood is intended for installation only over a hob with four cooking zones. Things you should never do: I. Do not attempt to use the kitchen hood without the

mesh filter or if the filter is excessively dirty or greasy! II. Do not install the kitchen hood above a cooker with a high- level grill. III. Do not leave pans unattended during use because overheated fats or oils may catch fire.
Accumulation of grease in the kitchen hood can cause a fire hazard. Clean the appliance according to the instructions in this manual.
Exercise extreme caution when cleaning the appliance. Risk of burns and/or cuts. We recommend the use of gloves.
Never leave open flames under the kitchen hood.
If the kitchen hood is damaged, do not attempt to use it. When the kitchen hood and other non-electrically powered appliances are in simultaneous operation, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 4 Pa (4 x 10-5 bar).
Important! Always disconnect the power supply during installation and maintenance.
The kitchen hood must be installed in accordance with the installation instructions and in compliance with all measurements.

2. ANTES DE USAR
Este aparato presenta un embalaje diseñado para protegerlo durante su transporte. Saque el aparato de su caja y retire todo el material de embalaje. Puede guardar la caja original y otros elementos del embalaje en un lugar seguro para prevenir daños en el aparato si necesita transportarlo en el futuro. Si desea deshacerse del embalaje original, asegúrese de reciclar todos los elementos correctamente.

3. MONTAJE DEL PRODUCTO
Las dimensiones de Campana Telescópica EVVO CE10 se muestran en la Figura 2. Las dimensiones de Campana Telescópica EVVO CE11 se muestran en la Figura 3.
Antes de instalar la campana extractora, asegúrese de que la zona esté limpia para

evitar que aspire restos de polvo o suciedad.
Tenga en cuenta que la campana extractora no puede compartir el mismo tubo de ventilación de aire con otros aparatos que usen gas u otros combustibles.
Para facilitar la salida del aire, el tubo de ventilación debe tener una curvatura de 120° y debe conectarse a la pared exterior, paralelo o por encima del punto inicial. Después de la instalación, asegúrese de que la campana extractora esté nivelada para evitar la acumulación de grasa en el extremo (Fig. 4).
Pasos para seguir para instalar la campana extractora: 1 La campana extractora debe colocarse a una distancia de 65-75cm por encima de la superficie de cocción para obtener los mejores resultados de funcionamiento (Fig 5). 2 Con un taladro, haga 4 orificios de Ø 5 mm y un orificio de Ø 170 mm en la parte inferior del mueble colgante según se muestra en las Figura 6. Inserte los tacos de plástico en los orificios y fije la campana extractora al mueble mediante los tornillos. Asegúrese de que está centrada con la encimera y vuelva a colocar el filtro. 4 Una vez colgada la campana extractora, puede instalar el tubo de conexión flexible de la chimenea (Ø150 mm) a la salida del conducto de ventilación situado en la parte superior de la campana extractora (Fig. 7). En caso de que fuese necesario, conecte el otro extremo del tubo de conexión flexible a la chimenea de la pared. 5 Conecte el cable de conexión a la toma de corriente.

Debe conectar los cables de fase y neutro a una línea eléctrica de 220-240 V~/ 50 Hz. La campana extractora debe estar conectada a una instalación provista de toma de

4. FUNCIONAMIENTO
Interruptores 1. Para encender la campana extractora, coloque el interruptor en las posiciones “I” o “II”. 2. En la posición de potencia baja (I), el motor funcionará a baja velocidad. 3. En la posición de potencia alta (II), el motor funcionará a alta velocidad. 4. Para detener el funcionamiento de la campana extractora, coloque el interruptor en la posición “0”. 5. Para encender la luz, posicione el interruptor en la posición “I”. 6. Para apagar la luz, posicione el interruptor en la posición “0”. NOTA: Las campanas disponen de un sistema de protección contra sobrecalentamiento que actúa para prevenir posibles incidencias cuando la temperatura del motor supera el valor límite de funcionamiento.
5. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Desconecte siempre el suministro eléctrico antes de realizar cualquier tarea de limpieza o mantenimiento de la campana. Tenga en cuenta que la frecuencia de limpieza y mantenimiento de la campana dependerá del tipo e intensidad de uso. 1. Para evitar que la superficie exterior de la campana se deteriore con el paso del tiempo, se recomienda limpiarla con agua caliente y detergente no corrosivo cada dos meses. 2. No utilice detergentes abrasivos. De lo contrario, podría dañar la superficie de la campana. 3. Mantenga el motor y las demás piezas alejadas del agua, ya que esta podría dañar el aparato.
Limpieza de los filtros de malla No utilice detergentes corrosivos para limpiar la grasa de los filtros. Limpiar con regularidad los filtros prolongará la vida útil del aparato y hará que funcione correctamente. Siga las siguientes indicaciones:
Método de limpieza 1: Sumerja los filtros en agua caliente (40-50 °C), añada detergente neutro y déjelos en remojo durante 2 o 3 minutos. Protéjase con guantes y limpie los filtros con un cepillo o estropajo suave. No aplique demasiada fuerza, ya que los filtros son muy delicados

y pueden estropearse con facilidad.
Método de limpieza 2: Si lo desea, también puede lavar los filtros en el lavavajillas ajustando la temperatura a unos 60 °C. Para retirar el filtro, presione sobre las pestañas tal como se muestra en la Figura 8 y extráigalo. Filtro de carbono Este tipo de filtros contienen carbón activo y se encargan de purificar el aire y de absorber los olores generados al cocinar. El carbón activo se satura al cabo de un tiempo, lo que reducirá la capacidad de absorción del filtro. El filtro de carbono no puede lavarse ni limpiarse de ninguna forma, cuando su vida útil llegue a su fin debe cambiarlo por uno nuevo.
Se recomienda revisar periódicamente el estado de los filtros de carbono, como mínimo dos o tres veces al año. Su sustitución dependerá del uso que se le dé a la campana extractora, así como del tiempo diario de funcionamiento.
En caso de freír alimentos con mucha frecuencia, acorte el intervalo de tiempo de la revisión y/o sustitución de los filtros de carbono.
Instalación de los filtros de carbono 1. Retire los filtros metálicos protectores. 2. Los filtros de carbono se encuentran ubicados a ambos lados del motor. Inserte y gire los filtros, hasta que queden bien fijos. 3. Para sustituir el filtro de carbono, proceda en orden inverso. 4. El filtro de carbono no debe exponerse al calor.

Desconecte siempre la alimentación eléctrica antes de realizar cualquier operación en el aparato. Al manipular la bombilla/lámpara, asegúrese de que se haya enfriado completamente antes de cualquier contacto directo con las manos.
Al manipular las bombillas, sujételas con un paño o guantes para evitar que el sudor entre en contacto con la bombilla, ya que esto puede reducir su vida útil. Nota:
Antes de cambiar las bombillas/lámparas, asegúrese de que el aparato está apagado y desenchufado. Protéjase del peligro al cambiar las bombillas/lámparas, por ejemplo, utilizando guantes.
6. RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

· Hay demasiada ventilación por tener puertas o ventanas abiertas

· Los tornillos de fijación no están bien apretados
· Los tacos de plástico no están bien apretados

Si ninguna de estas situaciones coincide con su problema, no intente desmontar ni reparar el dispositivo usted mismo. Las reparaciones realizadas por personas inexpertas pueden provocar lesiones o graves fallos de funcionamiento. Póngase en contacto con el Servicio de Asistencia Técnica de EVVO. Un técnico autorizado debe realizar la reparación y debe utilizar únicamente piezas de repuesto originales.
El auto-mantenimiento o mantenimiento no autorizado afectará a la seguridad del
uso del producto y a la aplicación de la política de garantía.

2. BEFORE USE
This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official EVVO Technical Support Service immediately.

3. PRODUCT INSTALLATION

CE11 kitchen hood is shown in Figure 3.
Before installing the kitchen hood, make sure that the area is clean to prevent it from sucking in dust or dirt. Please note that the kitchen hood must not share the same ventilation duct with other appliances that use gas or other fuses. To facilitate air outlet, the ventilation duct should have a curvature of 120° and should be connected to the outside wall, parallel to or above the starting point. After installation, ensure that the kitchen hood is level to prevent grease build-up on the end (Fig. 4).
Steps to install the kitchen hood: 1 The kitchen hood should be placed at a distance of 65-75 cm above the cooking surface for best effect (Fig 5). 2 Using a drill, drill 4 Ø 5 mm holes and a Ø 170 mm hole at the bottom of the wall unit as shown in Figure 6.

Insert the plastic plugs into the holes and secure the kitchen hood to the cabinet using the screws. Make sure it is centred with the worktop and replace the filter. 4 Once the kitchen hood has been hung up, you can install the flexible chimney connection pipe (Ø150 mm) at the outlet of the ventilation duct, located at the top of the kitchen hood (Fig. 7). If necessary, connect the other end of the flexible connection pipe to the wall chimney. 5 Connect the connection cable to the mains socket.

You must connect the phase and neutral cables to a 220-240 V~/ 50 Hz power cable. The kitchen hood must be connected to an earthed installation.

4. OPERATION
Switches 1. To switch on the kitchen hood, set the switch to position “I” or “II”. 2. In the low-power position (I), the motor will operate at low speed. 3. In the high-power position (II), the motor will operate at high speed. 4. To stop the operation of the kitchen hood, turn the switch to the “0” position. 5. To switch on the light, put the switch to “I” position. 6. To switch off the light, put the switch to “0” position.
NOTE: the hoods are equipped with an overheating protection system that acts to prevent possible incidents when the motor temperature exceeds the operating limit value.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always switch off the power supply before cleaning or performing any maintenance work on the kitchen hood. Please note that the cleaning and maintenance frequency depends on the use frequency and intensity.
1. To prevent the outer surface of the kitchen hood from deteriorating over time, it is recommended that it be cleaned with hot water and a non-corrosive detergent every two months. 2. Do not use abrasive detergents. Otherwise, the surface of the kitchen hood may be damaged. 3. Keep the motor and other parts away from water, as water may damage the appliance.
Cleaning the filters Do not use corrosive detergents to clean grease from the mesh filters. Regular cleaning of the filters will prolong the life of the appliance and keep it in good working order. Follow the instructions below:
Cleaning method 1: immerse the mesh filters in hot water (40-50 °C), add neutral detergent and let them soak for 2 to 3 minutes. Protect yourself with gloves and clean the filters with a soft brush or scouring pad. Do not apply too much force, as filters are

very delicate and can be easily damaged.
Cleaning method 2: if you wish, you can also wash the filters in the dishwasher at a temperature of approx. 60 °C.
To remove the filter, press on the tabs as shown in Figure 8 and pull it out.
Carbon filter This type of filter has activated carbon and purifies air and absorbs cooking odours. The activated carbon becomes saturated after a period of time, which will reduce the adsorption capacity of the filter. The carbon filter cannot be washed nor cleaned in any way. When its service life comes to an end you must replace it with a new one.
It is recommended to check the condition of carbon filters regularly, at least two or three times a year. Its replacement will depend on how the kitchen hood is used, as well as the daily operating time.
In case of very frequent frying, shorten the time interval for checking and/or replacing the carbon filters.
Installing the carbon filters 1. Remove the protective metal filters. 2. The carbon filters are located on both sides of the motor. Insert and turn the filters,

until they are firmly in place. 3. To replace the carbon filter, proceed in reverse order. 4. The carbon filter must not be exposed to heat.

Replacing the light bulb/lamp
Please note: The light bulb must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service or similarly qualified technicians. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any operation on the appliance. When handling the bulb, make sure that it has cooled down completely before any direct contact with your hands. When handling the bulbs, hold them with a cloth or gloves to prevent sweat from coming into contact with the bulb, as this may reduce the bulb life.
Note: Before changing the light bulb, make sure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged. Protect yourself from danger when changing the light bulb, e.g., by wearing gloves.

6. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
The indicator light is on, but the motor does not work

Possible cause
· The kitchen hood is obstructed · The condenser is damaged · Motor is jammed or bearing damaged · Motor is burnt or gives off a bad smell

Neither the light bulb nor the motor work
Grease falls out of the aluminium filters

· In addition to the above, check the following: The light bulb has blown
· Power cable is loose
· The filters are very dirty

The kitchen hood vibrates
The kitchen hood is not sufficiently extracting
The kitchen hood is tilted

· The fan is damaged, causing the kitchen hood to vibrate when extracting air.
· The engine is not securely fastened · The kitchen hood is not securely fastened
· The distance between the kitchen hood and the cooking surface is too large.
· There is too much ventilation in the room due · to open doors or windows
· Fastening screws are not tightened properly · Plastic plugs are not tightened properly

If none of these situations match your problem, do not attempt to disassemble, or repair the appliance by yourself. Repairs carried out by unqualified persons may result in injury or serious malfunctions. Contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service. The repair must be carried out by an authorised technician, and you must use only original spare parts. Unauthorised self-maintenance or maintenance will affect the safe use of the product and the application of the warranty policy.
