INSTALLATION

The cooker hood used in the illustration here is an exam-ple of installation. The overall guidelines for installation are the same, regardless of which cooker hood the filter is mounted on.

  • Pic 1:

    • Remove the cooker hood’s duct and prepare so that the exhaust hole (Ø150 mm) is easily accessible and ready for mounting.
    • Center and place the filter over the cooker hood’s exhaust, as shown in the illustration.
  • Pic 2:
    Tighten the clamp so that the filter seals tightly around the cooker hood’s exhaust hole. NOTE: Tighten ONLY the clamp so that it just closes tightly around the exhaust hole.

  • Pic 3:
    Reposition the cooker hood’s exhaust duct, and ensure that the exhaust holes are clear so that the recirculated air is blown back into the kitchen.

  • Pic 4:
    The cooker hood is now ready for use, and the air is now recirculated after cleaning the Carbon & Hepa Filter filter.

REPLACEMENT OF FILTERS

  • The carbon filter and the HEPA filter should be replaced regularly, as over time the filters become less effective and the activat-ed carbon loses its effectiveness.

  • It is recommended to replace the filters in Carbon & Hepa Filter at least once a year to ensure continued effective filtration. The frequency of replacement may vary depending on usage patterns.

  • Pic 5 & 6:
    Remove the protective grille in front of the filters, as shown in the illustration, by pressing the clip.

  • Pic 7:
    Remove the used carbon filter and HEPA filter, and replace them with new filters. The filters can be purchased from Thermex. NOTE: Always use original parts to ensure optimal operation and avoid damage.

  • Pic 8:
    Reattach the protective grille, ensuring it is properly secured and sealed. The unit is now ready for use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Regular Cleaning:
    To maintain optimal performance, the Thermex Carbon & Hepa Filter filter should be cleaned regularly. Remove visible dirt and dust by gently wiping the filter surfaces with a soft, dry cloth.

  • Filter Replacement:
    It is recommended to replace the filters at least once a year to ensure continued effective filtration. The frequency of replacement may vary depending on the usage pattern. SERVICE

Before reporting service on your Thermex range hood, you must read the installation and/or user instructions carefully. It ensures that Thermex can provide you with the best possible assistance.

  • The service department at Thermex can be contacted in preparation to:
    • Technical support for installation and installation of your range hood.
    • Clarification of functionalities in your hood.
    • Service Request during the warranty on your hood.
  • Before a service request during the warranty always try to disconnect the power to the hood for about 5 min. Then plug the power back on to see if the problem is corrected.
  • If the problem is not corrected, disconnect the power supply to the hood for one hour. If the hood is still not functioning properly, and the troubleshooting charts are reviewed, contact the service department.
