DEPLOYING YOUR SHOVEL

Assemble shovel and adjust the blade mode

  • A. Depress pushpin A and insert handle (T-Grip and 3-piece shaft) into neck connector until pushpins engage holes.

  • B. With your finger in the ring of the detent pin, pull pin out of the connector hole.
Note: you may need to lift and wiggle the shaft to take tension off the pin.

  • C. Adjust the blade to desired mode.

  • D. Insert the detent pin into the corresponding connector hole.

Extending the handle

  • A. Depress the pushpin closest to the T-Grip while pulling shaft away from grip to extend shaft segment. Do this until segment catches next set of pushpins.
  • B. Repeat process, always starting at the pushpin closest to T-Grip,until you get to your desired handle length.

Note: If for any reason you take all the segments apart, don’t worry. Just put them back in order and clip them back into place by depressing the pushpins.

COLLAPSING YOUR SHOVEL

Collapse the shaft to its fully nested position.

  • A. Depress 2nd pushpin from T-Grip and collapse shaft.
  • B. Depress 1st pushpin from T-Grip and engage shaft holes until pushpins lock into place.
  • C. Repeat until fully collapsed.

Engage stow mode for storage.

  • A. Remove detent pin from the shovel or hoe mode connector hole.
  • B. Position shovel in stow mode.
  • C. Insert detent pin in stow mode connector hole.

Note: After use, check the detent pin and connector holes for debris. Clear the debris with a cloth. You will need to periodically oil the ball in the detent pin to ensure ease of operation so that debris won’t impede its movement.
