BLUSTREAM UEX3x Valenc VaIUE Software
In order to carry out the update of the UEX3x products, you will need the following:
- PC / Laptop with Windows OS
- A USB-A to Micro USB cable (with all data pins connected)
Installing the Valenc VaIUE update software.
Open the “VaLUE Install” exe.
follow the on screen prompts, accepting the terms and conditions to complete the installation
(it is important to not launch the VaLUE update tool before you have connected and powered the device you wish to update)
Updating the UEX3x products
Once the installation has been completed, connect ether the TX or RX of the UEX3x-KIT via the USB-a to Micro USB cable to your PC/Laptop and power the unit. (it is important to not launch the VaLUE update tool before you have connected and powered the device you wish to update) Open the “VaLUE update tool” from the shortcut that will have been created on your desktop.
After the program has launched you will find the connected device listed in the “device tree” on the left hand side of the window.
It will be listed as “a UART device”.

Select the listed Valens chip “VS6320”, this will populate the programming section of the software.

Click the “add” button to open the firmware file to apply to the connected unit. Once the firmware has loaded in, you will be able to click the “Execute” button.

Allow the update to complete.

Once the update has completed close the VaLUE update tool, disconnecting the updated device.

To update the second unit of your UEX3x-KIT, simply repeat this update guide connecting the second unit.
