  2. This is a personal mobility device. It is not designed for competitions or extreme sports, and should never be used in a skate park. You must not use it to go up or down stairs, make jumps, overcome obstacles, perform dangerous tricks or acts. This device is neither a toy nor a fitness accessory. Do not let children play with it.
This product has not been designed for professional or commercial use, such as:
rental, fleet of vehicles, business travel.

  3. This machine must be used with care on a flat, clean, dry surface, free from gravel and grease, as the machine needs friction between the wheels and the ground to move forward. Avoid obstacles, holes, bumps and drain grates that could cause accidents. Slow down on speed bumps.
Keep your distance from other road users and respect the rules of road safety. You are not immune to the risks incurred by the behavior of other road users. Anticipate obstacles and traffic by adapting your speed. Your stopping distance correlates with your speed. Avoid abrupt maneuvers and braking; the machine can slip, lose its balance or even fall, even on a smooth, flat surface. You should also be careful to anticipate braking distances in wet weather and/or on wet roads. The same applies to pedestrians who may cross without seeing you. You must always be very vigilant and keep your distance from other pedestrians and road users.
WARNING! Never use the product outside the areas authorized by regulations. Be sure to signal your presence when approaching cyclists or pedestrians who may not have seen or heard you. This product does not emit noise in excess of 80dB.

  4. Caution! This device is designed for outdoor use. It is your responsibility to be aware of and comply with all applicable regulations for and at the place of use on public or private roads.

  5. Carry out the training period in an open, flat area without too many people around you, taking care to wear a protective helmet.
Always wear sturdy shoes and pants when using this unit. Do not operate the unit in bare feet or open sandals. Avoid wearing loose-fitting clothing, clothing with dangling cords or ties, scarves, etc., which could be caught by the rotating wheel and cause choking, falls and/or collisions.

  6. Do not press the gas pedal if you are walking while pushing the vehicle, or make sure you switch it off first.

  7. Do not drive in rain, snow, puddles, mud or any other wet spot with more than 2cm of water on the ground, which would allow water to seep inside the unit. To clean your device, follow the instructions in the «MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING» section.
Do not use this device in poor visibility conditions. If you are driving at night or in dark conditions, we recommend that you wear retro-reflective clothing or equipment (e.g.

If the unit is fitted with mechanical brakes, please ensure that they are not rubbed by cable tension or any other problem, as this will cause the unit to slow down and not run normally. In addition, overheating of the brakes may impair their efficiency.
Make sure that the steering system is correctly adjusted and that all connections and screws are tight and in good condition before each use. If, after retightening the screws, you find that there is any play which could affect safe driving, contact your dealer for further information or service.
Check that all safety devices (braking, lighting) are working properly. The folding device must be securely locked in its vertical driving position.
Carrying a draisienne by hand requires good posture and appropriate gestures to avoid injury. To this end, it’s important to stand up straight, use both hands to lift the draisienne, hold the handlebars firmly and keep the draisienne close to your body to avoid bumping into other people or objects. Using a shoulder strap to spread the weight can also be helpful, and it’s advisable to take breaks if necessary.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

BATTERY
The capacity of lithium batteries decreases after several charging and recharging cycles throughout its lifespan. The concept of life cycle exists for lithium batteries (for example, about 300 on a scooter). This means that from 300 COMPLETE cycles of charges and discharges, the battery will begin to lose its capacity (similar to a smartphone battery).
This partial loss of capacity will not prevent the battery from functioning, but will alter its performances and especially its operating life.
The device must be used and its battery recharged at least once a month: a lithium battery will lose its charge even when the product is off. This is why a battery that has not been charged for several weeks or less could lose some of its capacity and become impossible to recharge.
In addition, it is possible to recharge a lithium battery after each use because there is no memory effect.

WARNING: charging the battery must only be done indoors or in a place that is protected from weather (rain, snow, excessive heat…)

In order to better preserve your device’s battery, here are some reminders and instructions for use:

  • Do not unplug the charger before the battery is fully charged.
  • Store the product containing the battery in a cool place (temperature > 0°C), preferably around 15°C. Be careful, as excessive heat will also damage the battery.
  • Avoid deep discharges.
  • Avoid recharging the battery right after use. Allow the device to rest for between 15 minutes and 1 hour after use before charging.
  • Avoid overcharging. Do not leave the charger plugged in for more than 24 hours, as it will heat up needlessly.
Notice: We recommend recharging the battery, if not in use, after each use and at least once a month.
Important: If you are not near a charging point when the battery is down to its last quarter, we recommend switching to eco mode.
Tip: As you drive, the battery level indicator on the display may suddenly decrease depending on your driving style and conditions (heavy use of the accelerator, riding uphill, outside temperature below 10°C, etc.). Be aware that the actual battery level displayed will be most accurate when the device is turned off.

INSPECTING AND MAINTAINING YOUR DEVICE
Your product requires routine inspection and maintenance.
This chapter describes maintenance and operation steps.
Before performing the following operations, make sure that the power is off and that the charging cable is unplugged.

MAINTENANCE AND SPARE PARTS:
Your device requires regular maintenance for your safety but also to increase its life span. Mechanical components should be checked periodically to ensure that worn or worn-out parts are replaced if necessary.
CAUTION: When replacing components, original parts must be used in order to maintain the performance and reliability of the device. Only the manufacturer’s parts are considered original.

CAUTION: The user is solely responsible for the purchase and use of counterfeit parts, which may result in damage to the product, the user or the environment.
Make sure to use appropriate spare parts for the wheels, drivetrain components and the various components of the braking system. If you have any questions, please contact the after-sales service.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for improper use or incorrect assembly. Before each use, carefully check:

  • That the handles are fully tightened.
  • That the wheels are functioning properly by lifting the device and running the wheels idle.
  • The column, the steering tube, nothing must prevent it from turning. The entire steering system must be correctly adjusted and all connecting elements and screws tightened and in good condition.
  • Check the tightness of the screws, the front and rear wheels, shock absorbers, and bonnet, and tighten again if necessary. These adjustments may be needed because of vibrations caused by using the device.
  • Tyre wear. Tyre pressure if the unit is equipped with air wheels, and inflate as soon as is necessary using a bicycle pump or similar.
  • The brakes, drum linings, brake pads, foot brake, depending on the unit. If the unit is equipped with mechanical brakes (disc, drum, foot), ensure they are not rubbing due to cable tension or exhibiting any other problems, as this may cause the unit to slow down and prevent it from operating normally. Overheating may impact the brake’s efficiency.
  • Check that the electric brake is functioning properly if the unit is equipped with one.
If after adjusting you notice looseness that may affect your ability to drive safely, or if an unusual noise appears, or a lack of fluidity is apparent, stop using the unit and contact your dealer for more information or care. If the product, a component, or the battery are worn out, please contact an authorised service centre to repair or recycle your product.

PERIOD MAINTENANCE AND CHECKS:

CHARGER
Ensure that the charger cord is not damaged and that the wires are not exposed to avoid short circuits. The input and output sockets must not be damaged or deformed.
When using the battery charger, it is important to follow the instructions on the label.
WARNING: Only use the charger supplied with the product.

BRAKES
Before each use, check that the brakes are in perfect working order. Check the brakes regularly to prevent accidents due to brake malfunction.
The brake lever (depending on the model) must not come into contact with the handlebars and the cables must not be bent at a sharp angle so that the cables slide with minimum friction. Damaged, frayed or rusty cables must be replaced immediately.

CAUTION:
The surface of the brakes can become extremely hot during and after operation. You may suffer burns if you come into contact with these hot surfaces.
CAUTION: In rainy or wet weather, braking distances are extended.

VIBRATIONS
When using an electric balance bike, vibrations can occur due to a variety of factors such as the quality of the road surface, the condition of the tires, the speed of the balance bike, and the quality of the suspension. Uneven or rough roads, poorly inflated or damaged tires, high speeds, and poor suspension can all contribute to vibration on the unit.

CABLES
Make sure that the cable ports are not loose or broken.

SCREWS
Check the screws in the main components and tighten them regularly. Riding the device causes vibrations that loosen the screws over time.
